The sounds of the cold night filled the sky above Nevermore, crickets that chirped and the soft wind blowing the trees about. That was until a note from a cello was played, revealing Wednesday Addams on the balcony connected to her dorm room sat behind the large frame of a cello.
She began playing two notes on repeat while in her thoughts, after a bit of repeating the notes she started a cello rendition of "Paint It Black."
Playing the cello was something she did often, to rid her mind of thoughts she deemed unworthy of giving any actual thought to, but her interaction with Y/n Blackwell earlier in the day kept replaying in her head, she wasn't sure why, maybe it was the response he gave her. "I didn't do it for you, it was to prevent you from continuing to let them paint us as monsters."
His words played on repeat in her head over and over. So far every student she's met at this school for outcasts had done nothing but make futile attempts at becoming her friend, or getting to know her, but not Y/n, he is someone has shown no clear interest in her, if anything he seemed displeased with her choice of wanting to fight the pilgrims.
Wednesday continued to play the cello unaware that a lot of people around Nevermore could hear the melodic tune she played so elegantly.
Underneath Nevermore footsteps echoed throughout a dark room until it's revealed to be Rowan walking down a flight of stairs further into the dark room. He moves underneath a light casting down on the center of the room before holding out his hand, after a second a book from one of nearby bookshelves came flying out of its spot upon the shelf towards the boy who caught it.
Rowan then quickly threw open the book and flipped through its pages seeming to be searching for a specific page. After a second he stops and stared down at a page in recognition.
On the page was a drawing of the quad within Nevermore lit ablaze, flames of red and orange crawled up the walls of the school. But what was most prominent on the page was the drawing that took both pages, the image of four figures, two on right page looked to be a dark outline of a boy and a girl, the girl had pigtails while the boy had two bright orange dots where his eyes would be.
On the left page was a large man with what looked to be a cape and a large staff, behind behind him was a creature large in size that was hidden in darkness, not revealing what type of creature it could be. Rowan quickly ripped out the half of the page with the boy and the girl out of the book before folding it up and stuffing in the pocket of his uniform.
Meanwhile, far away from Nevermore in Jericho Tyler Galpin is seen searching through a drawer of a file cabinet, he continued to search through the files until he came upon what he was searching for, he pulled out a file which looked to be an autopsy report on one "Maverick Blackwell."
Tyler then turned putting the file underneath his armpit before opening up another drawer in a file cabinet before searching through the names until he spotted. "Gomez Addams."
In the police department of Jericho Sheriff Galpin is seen sitting at his desk with a can of beer in hand, he pops open the lid which let off a satisfying hiss before he stared at a nearby pin board with multiple images of people on it labeled victims, bedside that was a map of Jericho and its sorrounding area.
On the map were multiple pins of locations where victims bodies have been found spread out the Forrest sorrounding Jericho and Nevermore.
Back in Nevermore Xavier Thorpe is seen adding to a painting he's been working on in the quad until he hears the cello in the distance making him stop and turn to listen.
