Chapter Seven- Catching Snowflakes

Bella's POV-

We had gotten home and were watching Renesmee and Edward play piano. I was standing next to them with Rosemary in front of me, my hands on her shoulders. Everyone was enjoying the music, when Alice walked in holding a vase of flowers. "When have I ever lied to you?" With that Rosie let out a beaming smile along with a giggle. The girls are a month old but look like toddlers. Me and Jake were taking the two of them out to play in the snow. Renesmee walked out in a simple outfit; it looked like something I'd wear when I was her age. "Ready to go sweetie?" "Yeah, how much longer until Rosie comes down?" "Not long, she may like to dress up, but she doesn't like keeping people waiting." Just then Rosie skipped into the room wearing an outfit that looked like something Alice would wear. She had gray leggings under her dress and her hair was in its normal ringlets, she was also wearing boots similar to Renesmee's. "Okay let's get going, but we have to go hunting first." "Okay mommy." They both replied in unison. Renesmee got on Jake's back (who was in wolf form) and helped Rosie on too. Then we started running to the woods. We stopped somewhere near the mountains and waited. That's when I heard two deer not far from us. "Wait here angels, mommy will be right back." I ran back as fast as my legs and speed would let me, that's when I pounced. Quickly snapped their necks and dragged them back to the girls. After they had sunk their teeth into the deer we walked to mine and Edward's meadow. "Look like a snowflake." Rosie said, holding her hand out to show me. "It's beautiful, why don't you and Renesmee go catch another." The two looked at each other with smiles before going off to play. As I watched, they crouched for an instant and then sprung fifteen feet up into the air. Rosie's little hand closed around a snowflake, and she dropped lightly to her feet with Renesmee. Renesmee was looking at something in the distance while Rosie was looking at her snowflake. Renesmee put her hand on Rosemary's cheek and soon the two of them came back over to me and Jake, ending our conversation. Renesmee hid behind Jake's leg, and Rosemary hid behind her. "Mommy who's that?" Renesmee asked, pointing at the figure. I take a closer look and see blond hair and golden eyes. "I think that's our cousin from Denali. IRINA!" Irina looked at my girls with a hateful glare before disappearing. I go after her but miss by a second. The water below me moved like someone had just jumped in. I ran back, not having enough time to go after Irina, and helped the twins get on Jake's back before going home. Alice walked in carrying a vase of flowers when she had gotten a vison making her drop the vase and it shatter into a million pieces. This caused Renesmee to hit a very wrong high note, which caused Rosemary to flinch. Hazel vampire sped up to Alice looking very concerned about Alice's scared face. "Ally, what did you see?" "The Volturi are coming for us." Everyone tensed and looked at each other. "What did Irina see?" Edward asked us. "Nothing, Ness and Rosie were just catching snowflakes." "And they were walking."
