Chapter Eight- Immortal Children

Bella's POV-

Carlisle just explained to me what immortal children were. I couldn't believe Irina would mistake my daughter for the monster her mother was killed for. Then again immortal children never asked to be turned just because their creators couldn't have children. I can't think about them, I have to think about my daughters. "But Renesmee and Rosemary aren't like that, they grow every day." "I don't think the Volturi will listen". That's when we got into this whole conversation about witnesses for the girls. So tomorrow me, Edward, Jake, and the girls are going to visit the rest of the Denali.

Next Day-

Edward had got out of the car to talk with them, so I listened in on their conversation. "Edward, what are you doing here, and why is your bride waiting in the car?" "Why did you bring the dog? I can smell him from here." After that I turned to look at the girls. "Time to meet some new people ok". The girls looked at me with worry in their eyes. "What if they don't like us?" They said at the same time. They've been doing that a lot lately, it's kind of cute. "They'll love you both." Jake told them, trying to make them feel calmer. "They just never met someone like you two before, but they will love you once they understand." We all got out of the car; I held the girls close to me as our cousin's started backing up in fear. "You get those things out of here!" "They're not what they look like." "This is a crime!" Tayna then ran at Edward, but he threw her back. That's when Kate attacked using her gift to shock him. I ran up to them and threw her back. They started to run back towards us, but I threatened them to stay back. "They aren't what they look like, you can feel their warmth." Edward told them, trying to reason with them again. "I can feel it." Carmen said after a second or two. "I'm their biological father, Bella's their mother." "Impossible." "No, it's true I had them while I was still human." I explained to them as they kept their eyes trained on the girls, snow falling lightly around us. "Please Tayna, you owe us, my family is under a death sentence because your sister didn't let us explain". Edward ran back to the girls and picked up Rosemary, while Jake picked up Renesmee. When they came back over to us, Rosie reached out her hand to Tanya who backed up in fear. "Don't be scared, this is how she communicates." Rosie gently put her hand on her cheek and showed her memories. She gasped and looked around at all of us. "It's true, they're not immortal."
