If you were to ask Seungmin 6 months ago about arranged marriages he would have given you a weird look and been disgusted at the idea of it, and he pretty much was when his mother had told him he was to marry an alpha all the way in Seoul.
He was very confused at the matter as well so he didn't really make much of a rebuttal to his mothers decoration. He was a beta, he had no business being married off to an alpha all the way in Seoul. Plus they weren't very much of a rich family either, he lived in the rural areas of Korea. Near large wheat farms.
After a few hours seungmin was convinced it was just a cheap prank his mother pulled on him, yeah. That's exactly what he thought. What alpha would ever marry a lower class beta?
At least up until he was on the train to the big city, all his stuff was neatly packed and stored somewhere as he sat on the old semi-uncomfortable seats. To make it worse he was all alone, he was angry.
Angry, his parents were marrying him off.
Angry, he didn't get the chance to say goodbye to his friends.
Angry, he was to leave the beta he had already promised his hand in marriage too.
Out of everything he'd miss Changbin the most, the older was possibly the only person in the whole village who understood what it was like to be a beta in a whole town full of non-dominant alphas and recessive omegas. He'd miss the subtle waxy scent of pine trees, the curly fluffy hair that would always get tangled in a brush, the olders big strong arms which made him feel safe no matter what, the obnoxious laugh that always made Seungmin smile, and most of all he'd miss the days and nights spent in bed cuddling with the older exchanging soft kisses and touches.
The thought of leaving it all behind brought tears to Seungmins eyes, he looked out the window. Though he wasn't able to make out much because the tears that were willing up in his eyes made it all blurry, he was still able to see the wheat fields which told him he was almost out of town. His vision slowly cleared up as the tears fell to his thighs and the seat.
It was a long ride, as well as a long time to be alone and cry. Once the train had stopped Seungmin still felt the lump in his throat and the itch in his eyes telling him to cry, reluctantly he grabbed his stuff and walked out. He looked around for a minute before he saw a tall man wearing a fancy looking suit holding up a sign with his name on it. He contemplated running away for a second before he decided against it and went up to the bigger man.
The man didn't even say anything before helping Seungmin get his bags into a fancy looking black car. The guy didn't even say anything the whole car ride, he just silently stared at the younger every now and then.
Though Seungmin picked up quite quickly that whoever he was to marry was part of the mafia or something, upon pulling up to the driveway there was a large circle of big men wearing black suits. All of which had stern looks on their faces as they watched a buffer man getting beat up in the middle.
That's where he met his now husband, standing tall over the rest of the men. Not the tallest but definitely had the most pride and dignity than the others, though once Seungmin stepped out of the vehicle he had noticed that he was in fact a little bit taller than the alpha.
