What can be the most important day for a woman? Her first day at college? Her first day at job? And.......her marriage?
Diya was exceptional in everything. She knows how to nurture relationships and how to keep everything safe within herself, especially when her loved ones are involved.
Diya looked into the eyes of her sister which were pooling with emotions and tears. Looking at the tears in her sister's eyes, she felt as if she was stabbed with several rusted knife and her heart was weeping.
" Don't cry,Baby " she ushered her to stop herself from crying her yes out.
Samaira just sat beside her, not daring to day another word or even blink for a second. She was just staring at her sister, just like she used to do when she was a kid. Her sister was her role model, She still is.
" You...are looking pretty Di " She whispered in a slowed voice while forcing a smile on her face.
Diya knew her sister inside out. She can definitely read her expressions and right now, she was happy but still the pain of her sister leaving the house never left her heart.
" Take care of yourself...when I'll be away" Diya whispered while caressing her hairs and Samaira nodded, frantically.
" Do no-" Diya's words were cut off because of a sudden phone call. Samaira excused herself from the room as she would have cried if she dared to stay any longer.
Diya was looking for her Iphone which was ringing continuously for past few seconds. As her eyes fell on the caller id, she rolled her eyes.
" Oh! My dee is getting married" Rohan chirped excitedly as soon as Diya answered the call.
A small yet overwhelming smile appeared on her lips as soon as Rohan completed his words.
" Guess I am " She chuckled.
" Diya...sweetie....you are happy right? " Rohan further questions in utmost concern.
Is that even a question? Of course she is happy.
" I am " She said in a whisper...
" Then nothing else matters to me, your happiness is my first priority, Diya. Don't get me wrong, Advait might be my brother but you were never less than a sister to me...your happiness matters to me " Rohan's voice cracked in the end. He was emotional or sentimental I may add.
