Here's the update. I am updating because it was getting harsh on my genuine readers. It's disheartening and demotivating for me. A single tap, that's all it takes.

This should be clear now, I won't be updating the chapters if the target has not been met by you guys.

My Diya has been unconscious and it's been 2 hours, there is no sign of her waking up. Never in my entire life I felt so helpless, why can money buy a person's health? Why can't money buy affection? Perhaps, it would be easier than letting the universe decide the next step in one's life.

If it were for me, I would have given up on my most precious posession, just to keep my family safe and fine, Diya has been a part of my life for straight 5 years, ever since she was a young girl who knew nothing other than studying her soul out, ever since she stepped for the first time in the world of business, carrying the weight of being a CEO of her father's legacy, I have seen her ups and downs, her falling apart and growing a new version of herself. She has always been a girl with strong and unwavering strength, she has always been a woman who is strong enough to take care of everything on her own accord, sometimes she even surprises me.

Now, seeing her laying before me, on our bed, something tugs my heart. Maybe because she has been a part of my life for months now? Diya never acted like a wife, she always considered making my comfort as her priority before her, I should be the one doing so but she never fails to amuse me. In these 2 months of our wedding, she was the only person who would scold me if I scolded the twins, she will glare at me for not having usual dinners with my family, she will stand by me if something gets overboard or out of control. Not that I cannot keep a hold of everything, it's just that she stays with me, no matter what.

My mother, her eyes are red because of constant crying, this is not a matter where one should be crying but no one can understand a mother's heart. Diya is in this state, not because of the incident that happened in the mall but because of exhaustion. She didn't even have a blink of sleep for the last 4 days, she barely ate anything, her eating schedules have deteriorated and as a result, her is suffering from mild body weakness.

" Why is she not opening her eyes? " My mother mumbled softly, her attention solely on her Daughter-in-law lying on the bed, her lips slightly parted, eyes close as she breathed softly.

" Maa, the doctor said that she needs rest, she hasn't slept in days " I replied to her, only to earn a glare from my father.

" Since you know she is not sleeping properly or eating, you didn't consider looking after her? Didn't bother informing us about it? " My father gritted, Disappointed flashing through his eyes as he shook his head at me.

There is nothing wrong with whatever he said. He is right. It's my mistake, I should have taken care of her, I knew that she.... wasn't doing well lately but I never thought that it was still worse to this extent.
