Ellie's POV
I take Noah's hand as I walk to the McLaren hospitality, I Normally don't attend races but I've been to Silverstone before. Because it is Landos home race, I know that a lot of his family is here today to support him.
I see his mom and give her a hug. "Hello my dear, oh I haven't seen you for so long" she greats me nicely. She takes Noah and hugs him too. It is only about a hour before the race starts and I see Lando approaching us.
"Hello buddy" Lando says and Noah immediately runs towards him. I see him throwing lando in the air and catching him again.
He takes Noah to the garage where he was able to see the car. I continued sitting in the Hospitality with MUTTE and catching up.
"And you don't have anyone yet?" She asked me, like she has a million times, I know that she just wants the best for me but I hate these questions. "I mean I've been going out a bit again but... who wants to date a 22 year old with a child?" I say a bit sad. "I would know someone" she says sneaky, I start laughing it off and continued on drinking my coffee. "No but seriously Elenor, it is non of my business and I understand do you know why Luisa and Lando broke up?" I knew that she would ask me that eventually so I was already prepared for it "I don't know much either, I just hope that she is doing better now" she got a lot of backlash on social media when the broke up.
We are watching the Race only with one eye as we are so focused on our conversation. "You know sometimes I'm kinda sad lando lives so far away, he doesn't even get to see Noah that often" she explains to me like she has read my mind. "He does his best and I don't want to complain cause I know you helped me a lot but sometimes I'm kinda angry at him about that" she nods and listens carefully. "I accept his dreams and only want the best for him, you know that, but I sometimes wonder, why do you have to live on Monacco, why is it so far away, why am I the one calming him down when he is missing his daddy" I let it all out. She gently is putting an arm around me.
As we realized the race is common to an end and everyone is getting louder we see that lando is in second. I smile happy and look at the screen.
As we walk to the podium I see that max is holding Noah in his arms. "I see his favorite babysitter returned" I greet him. "We wouldn't miss daddy's celebration" he explains to Noah. As the Champlain celebration began I can see lando waving at Noah.
He really cares about him, that is something I always have to keep in mind.
