Ellie's POV

I prepare our guest room, as London is coming for a few days over to see Noah more. To be honest I think his mom told him to his call came one day after I told her, however I don't know how I should think of the situation as I'm always scared he will judge me as a mother. I hear the door ring, the people are no surprise it is Lando who picked up Noah from preschool today. I greet both and lando takes up his luggage. "You're excited when daddy stays here a few days?" I ask Noah and he joyfully agrees.

We eat dinner and I take Noah to go to bed. After I put him down to sleep I can see lando on the tv "you want to watch something special?" Asks me but I just shake my head. I sit besides him on the sofa.

As we skip through the tv we stick by marriage story. "The movie is kinda funny" I say without thinking about it. "How is a movie like that funny?" He raises his eyebrows and gets all serious. "I mean we kinda had this a few years ago" I say still laughing. "That isn't the same" he just says. "Well I know how Nicole feels" he looks at me in shook. "Why would you say that?"" I just laugh at the question "answer please" he says again. I shift my attention to him and look at him confused. "I mean I'm gross and the wired mom who isn't even cool enough to drop him of at school"

"That is not even my fault" he tries to defend himself. "Of corse it isn't" I try to calm him down. "Well I hope you know that you are doing a great job" he says and gives me smile. "Look I know I'm getting on your nerves right now but this all, letting me stay with you here and spending time with Noah, means a lot to and I really want to be a better father" he explains. "You are a good father Lando and no matter what happens Noah adores you" I tell him.

He looks at me with a smile even bigger than before. "Last time I saw you like that was at Noah's birth" I joke but he just stays silent. "Is everything okay?" I ask thinking I've said something wrong. "I was just clearing up my mind" he says quick.
