Normal pov

Sakura had noticed something, she noticed that Zuko began to act strangely, and he was a little bit too quiet, he usually gives here and there a few small talk, especially whenever she's around, but not this time. He was also walking a little bit slowly, though Iroh only brushed it off as just being tired from rescuing the avatar's bison. Sakura was having a bad feeling, so she stayed by Zuko's side just in case. Sakura had asked if he was okay, and he only answered that he was, just a tired. That's what he said 15 minutes before they came back home, when they walked inside, and Iroh telling that how proud he was for his nephew for helping and freeing Appa, Zuko suddenly hold his head as if he was getting a headace. Sakura put a hand on his back, and placed her other one on his shoulder, and gave him a worried look.

"Zuko, what's wrong?"

"I-I don't feel so good."

"Are you sick? Are you feeling- Zuko!?"

Zuko's body had gave in, he fell but was caught by Sakura, preventing him from falling to the ground, and Iroh quickly rushed to them as Sakura lowered Zuko before she let him rest against her, before placing a hand on his forehead. Her eyes winded to feel that he was burning up and very pale, and she wanted to use her healing abilities, but Iroh stopped her.

"U-Uncle?"

"Wait Sakura, don't, I have seen this somewhere before, he is going through a metamorphosis, this is something he must battle on his own."

"B-but uncle-"

"He will be fine Sakura, trust me."

Sakura looked hesitant for a moment, staring at Zuko who was panting as his face was flushed, and he was burning up. After a moment of debating, she finally gave in and helped Zuko to a bed, taking off his shirt before covering him with a blanket. Iroh went to fetch a bowl of water with a wet cloth to cool down Zuko's fever, and Sakura did her best to just be there for him. Sakura and Iroh took turns to look after Zuko, though Sakura mostly looked after him, only falling asleep next to him.

...

"Aaahaaa!"

Is what could be heard as Zuko jerked up, panting fast as his heartbeat beat fast, and his eyes winded from the horrible nightmare he just woke up from. He then quickly looked around in panic, though immediately calmed down when he saw Iroh was sleeping near him, while sitting, and Sakura was right next to him, holding his one hand as if she was scared he will disappear. He sighed before putting his free hand over his scar, and closed his eyes as he remembered the tragedy he went through back when he was a child. He let out a sigh after awhile, and layed back down, though he decided to stare at Sakura, feeling at peace as he stared at her sleeping face, and reached out his hand towards her. Zuko stroked a finger across her face, feeling her smooth and soft skin, before going for her hair, and tucked it behind her ear, fully exposing her face to him. He smiled and moved closer to her, bringing her to his chest, her scent and body heat was somehow lulling him back to sleep. Before he was completely unconsciously, he mumbled.

"I love you Sakura."

....

The next morning, Sakura woke up with Zuko still cuddling her, and she smiled, though had to break free from his grip, but when she did, she gave him a kiss on the forehead. Sakura stood up and went to the kitchen, where Iroh was making something, and it actually smells delicious.

"Morning Uncle, what are we eating?"

Sakura sat down as Iroh explained what they will be eating, and just then her stomach growled from hunger, and she blushed in embarrassment, Iroh only chuckled. Iroh poured her the soup and placed it in front of her, and she ate it. Just then Zuko walked in, still feeling very drowsy and sleepy. He went to the pot at sniffed, only smiling as he complimented at how good it smelled. Iroh looked surprised at first, but smiled as Zuko looked like he was in a very good mood, and was very positive. Sakura walked to him and hugged him from behind.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel great, as if I was lifted from a heavy burden."

Sakura smiled and hugged him tighter, feeling happy and relieved that Zuko was feeling better, but she suddenly pinched his side that made him jump and yelp in surprise. She pouted at him while scolding that he must not scare her again, or there would be consequences. Iroh only laughed at her action, though Zuko only smiled at her childish behavior.

"I'm sorry that I got you so worried, I promise I won't do it again."

"Good, let's hope you can keep that promise."

....

"Jet? What are you doing here?"

".... I.... I just came here to thank Lee from saving me. If it wasn't for him... I would've died."

Sakura smiled, and Zuko was uncertain what to say, all he could do was nod at Jet, showing he was happy to help him survive. Jet came inside as Iroh offered him tea, and they sat by the table, though it was quiet at first, no one didn't know what to say. It was about another 5 minutes, and Jet finally spoke up.

"Ya know, all my life I always hated firebenders, that you guys were the evil nation that existed, and had cursed you all my life.... I was blinded by my rage, I never thought about to think if there were any good firebenders.... but what happened in that cave, gave me a lot to think about...."

"..... Jet, tell me, what are you planning to do now?"

".... To start a new beginning, that I was supposed to do with my gang, we all want second chances, we want to be free from our past, we want to be free from our pain."

Iroh nodded in understanding, but he could see something was holding him back, Sakura and Zuko could see that as well. They waited for Jet to respond, and after he took a sip of his tea, he looked back at them as he spoke.

"Can we... maybe, start over? Continue as a tea servant?"

"..... If that's what you want Jet, than sure, we can start over, if it's okay with Lee and Uncle."

"I have no problem at all, the Jasmine Dragon could use a few extra hands!"

"..... If Sakura says it's okay, than I don't mind either, just don't cause any trouble Jet."

Jet looked relieved and smiled, happy that he could finally atone the sins he had done, all the hate the hate he had, the pain, the rage, was all gone. He could finally live peacefully from his past, and if he is lucky, he can get Smellerbee and Longshot in the Jasmine Dragon as well.

"For a couple of firebenders, you two are not that bad after all."

Finally things were looking up, and Sakura couldn't have it any other way... but... she somehow.... felt that something was wrong, that there was a disturbance in the force.

And I am done! I am very very VERY sorry for the late update, I kinda got stuck, but I finally managed to finish another chapter, hope you all enjoyed it!
