"There's nothing as beguiling as finding serenity amidst the chaos"

Adhrit's POV
It was midnight, and I was still on my phone, scrolling in a dunderheaded state. After replying to all those emails, I decided to watch a movie as I was at leisure after so long; I had never felt so unfettered.

In view of the fact, I looked in front and found Izna in deep slumber, snoring so loudly that it was making me feel narked.

Even after plugging in my headphones, the sound of snoring was as clear as glass. Getting more and more peeved by her snores, I had an idea. Tearing a piece of paper from my diary, I cautiously went towards her seat. Our coach was quite dark now, with only the reading light from my seat glowing, creating a bit of luminosity in the dull domain.

I rolled the paper and put it in her nose. Instantly, she rubbed her nose and turned herself a bit, snoring again. I repeated the same again, this time with the right side for a bit longer. She was clearly getting vexed by it. But who cares?

I took another paper, rolling it. I put it in her ears and nose, both teasing her. She let out a loud groan and a few incoherent words.

I stifled a chuckle and continued to do it. I felt her grabbing my hand and pulling me, causing me to fall on top of her. No way, why is it always me?

She immediately opened her eyes, feeling my weight on her. Letting out a loud shriek, she pushed me with such brawniness that I fell onto the floor.

"Were you in wrestling or something?" I genuinely questioned, being amazed by her strength.

"Yeah, used to break the asses of perverts like you. How dare you climb onto me, huh? You wanted to take advantage of seeing a young girl like me alone? Abla naari mat samjhana mujhe," she started shouting.

"Advantage and you? Ma'am, kindly excuse me, but I have better taste in women. What's even there to take advantage of?" I replied, matching her energy.

"Abhi sirf neeche hi fenka hai, shukar manao train se neeche nahi fenka."

"My lawyers will sue you for that."

"I'll sue you, your lawyers, your life, your company, everything."

Wait, how can she sue me? Is she a lawyer? No way, she can't be. I couldn't stop myself.

"Wait, you're a lawyer?"

"Nahi, chai ke dukaan par chotu ka kaam karti hu. 2 cup chai?" She quoted in an utterly sarcastic tone.

"Malai maar ke, please," I mirrored her sarcasm.

"Zeher bhi mila du?" She muttered.

"Understandable, that's why you get violent so quickly. It's okay, chotu, you'll get a better life. No need to get involved in unnecessary violence," she gave me a deadpan look, her eyes screaming menace. But do I care?

"I don't know about anything else, but one thing for sure, only one of us will be able to make it alive out of here."

"I agree on that, chotu."

"I'm not chotu, you moron," she screamed. I immediately covered my ears; she'll make me deaf in thirty days.

"Absolutely, chotu," she huffed in annoyance.

"Are you always this annoying and unbearable, or is it only for some special occasion?"

"Not for special occasions, but for some special people who are also known as chotu."
