Y/N pov

As i sniffled i tried to explain what happened

FLASHBACK

Cormac, leaning against a nearby wall, spots the Y/N walking down the street and decides to call out to her without considering the impact of his words.

"Hey there, sweetheart, looking fine today! Where you off to in such a rush?" Cormac shouts, his tone laced with an unwarranted sense of entitlement.

Y/N stiffens, feeling uncomfortable as she quickens her pace, hoping to avoid any further interaction.

But Cormac, oblivious to her discomfort, continues, "Come on, don't be shy! A pretty thing like you should be smiling more. Let me see that beautiful smile!"

His words hang in the air, leaving the heroine feeling even more uneasy. She glances around, hoping someone will intervene or that she'll find a way to escape the situation.

Before the heroine can respond, Cormac's words sting like a slap across her face. She feels her cheeks flush with humiliation and anger, her heart pounding in her chest. Unable to hold back tears, she turns away from Cormac, feeling the weight of his words bearing down on her.

Cormac, oblivious to the hurt he's caused, watches her reaction with a mixture of confusion and indifference. "Hey, what's your problem? Can't take a compliment?" he calls after her, his voice tinged with annoyance.

The heroine doesn't look back as she hurries away, the echo of Cormac's taunts ringing in her ears. She ducks into an alleyway, seeking refuge from prying eyes, and collapses against a wall, tears streaming down her cheeks.

It's there, in the solitude of that narrow passage, that she finally lets herself feel the full extent of the pain and humiliation inflicted by Cormac's words. She clutches her arms around herself, trembling with a mix of fear and anger, her breaths coming in ragged gasps. After calming down Y/N goes back to her dorm and cries softly on the bed.

Blaise pov

As Y/N recounts the painful encounter to me rage fills my entire body.

"What?" I demands, my voice low and dangerous.

i take Y/N with me to find Cormac

Minutes later, I storm into the hallway, my eyes scanning the shadows until they land on Cormac, who's still lingering nearby, oblivious to the storm that's about to descend upon him.

"You!" I bellow striding toward Cormac with purpose, my fists clenched at my sides.

Cormac's eyes widen in alarm as he realizes the gravity of the situation. "Hey man, chill out. I was just—"

But before he can finish, my fist connects with Cormac's jaw, sending him stumbling backward with a grunt of pain. The force of the blow knocks him to the ground, where he lands in a heap, dazed and disoriented.

"You think it's okay to talk to women like that?" I growls, towering over Cormac with barely contained rage. "You think you can just disrespect my girl and get away with it?"

Cormac tries to scramble to his feet, but another blow from me sends him sprawling once more. Each punch is fueled by the righteous anger of a man defending the honor of the woman he loves, and Cormac is no match for the fury in his eyes.

As Cormac lies battered and defeated on the ground, I finally relent, my chest heaving with exertion.I turns to Y/N, who's watching with tear-filled eyes, and pulls her into my arms, holding her tightly against my chest.

"It's okay, baby," I murmur pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I've got you. He won't bother you again."

And in that moment, as Y/N buries her face in my chest, she knows that she's safe, protected by the unwavering love of the man who would do anything to keep her from harm.
