Blaise sat in his room, his fingers tapping restlessly against his desk. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Y/N , the girl he had been seeing for the past few months. However, as much as Blaise cherished their time together, he knew there was a storm brewing on the horizon—the inevitable meeting between Y/N and his parents.

His parents, Aida and Elias, were traditionalists through and through. They held firm to the values of their upbringing, and anything that deviated from those norms was met with skepticism. Blaise couldn't bear the thought of their disapproval, especially directed towards Y/N, who was nothing but kind and genuine.

Blaise Pov

As Y/n and I  sat in the garden, our laughter echoed through the air, we were interrupted by the sound of the front door slamming shut. My heart sank as I  recognized the heavy footsteps approaching.

"Blaise, we need to talk," Elias,My father's stern voice called out.

I stood up, my hand instinctively reaching for Y/N's "I'll be right back," I whispered, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze before heading inside to face the inevitable confrontation.

I found my parents sitting in the living room, their expressions serious. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what was to come.

"Blaise, we've noticed you spending a lot of time with that girl," Aida said, her tone disapproving.

My heart sank further, knowing exactly who they were referring to. "Her name is Y/N" I said quietly, trying to keep my voice steady.

Elias shook his head. "We know her name, Blaise. We also know she's not from our circle. She's not the kind of girl you should be associating with."

I felt a surge of anger rising within me. "What do you mean 'the kind of girl'?" I demanded. "Y/N is kind, intelligent and so much more but most importantly she makes me happy. Isn't that what matters?"

Elias' eyes narrowed. "What matters is that she doesn't come from a respectable family. She doesn't fit into our world, Blaise."

My jaw clenched as I fought to control my temper. "Our world? Is that what this is about? Because Y/N doesn't fit into some outdated idea of what our world should be like?"

Adia sighed heavily. "Blaise, we're just worried about you. We want what's best for you."

I shook my head. "No, what you want is for me to conform to your expectations, regardless of how I feel. Well, I won't do it. I love Y/N, and I won't let you or anyone else tell me that she's not good enough."

There was a tense silence as my words hung in the air. I could see the disappointment in my parents' eyes, but I refused to back down.

Finally, Elias spoke, his voice strained. "We may not agree with your choice, Blaise, but if Y/N truly makes you happy, then we'll try to accept her."

I felt a wave of relief wash over me, mixed with a hint of skepticism.I knew it wouldn't be easy, but at least my parents were willing to try.

As I walked back outside to Y/N,I took her hand in mine, holding it tightly. "I told them about us," I said, my voice filled with determination. "And I won't let anyone come between us."
