With Ezekiel being taken out of action for now the arrival of Eriko and Rose calls for a new action plan.
The two side by side look at the situation before them but first, something catches Eriko's attention.
"VAL!" Eriko rushes over to his body. Being protected by flowers. "This magic is"
"Ahh" Ezekiel lying exhausted next to him. "Ezekiel, what happened?" Slow to get up Ezekiel sits back up "he dueled with Jericho over there" as he points at Jericho.
She marches towards the Dragonclad summoning her rapier in the process pointing it at Jericho's head. Surprised he puts his hands up dropping his sword "Let me remind you Lady Virgo we are still in the Magus Exam. If I wanted him gone I would've taken their rings and sent him back to Aurora Saint Academy"
Rose watches that transpire as voices call out to her.
"Rose!"

Lily, Bella, Azalea, and Sunneta all hug their sister.
"Glad to see everyone is together," Rose says happily.
"I expected you to be at the center first," Lily says. "Since you are the one who told us the game plan" Bella remarks. "Here you are though the last one to meet up," Sunneta says jokingly.
"Well, things happened." As she looks at Eriko confronting Jericho.
Eriko then lowers her rapier. "Will he be alright?" She asks him.
"He'll be fine you should know he survived the battle with the Leo," Jericho says.
"Fighting each other isn't the priority right now as we have something looming right above us" Jonathan steps forward.

"Who is he?" Eriko questions herself.
"So what's your plan of action, Jonathan?" Jericho questions. "It seems you fair a better chance of beating this monster than the rest of us" with an honest expression and tone.
Jonathan stood in front of the group as everyone waited for his orders "Well we should wait for its next attack as you all saw before I can reflect the magic right back at the beast and take it down"
"Hey, Sunneta what's this guy's magic?" Bella asks. "Am not too sure myself" "Wha. But aren't you his partner?"
"Do you wish to know my abilities is that why I sense a distrust among and doubt in my abilities? Jonathan overhears their conversation.
"Rest assured I can defeat this beast"
"You sure do have a lot of confidence in yourself"
"I do"
Jonathan places his arm out towards the sea beast.
A magic circle appears and shoots a laser-like beam to the beast's head.
The beast then stops moving and continues to drop out of the sky.

"Hmm, something I didn't calculate it's releasing all of its energy for one final attack," Jonathan remarks with a surprised expression.
"I guess we have to think of a countermeasure now," Jericho says.
"That's the first time I saw him surprised throughout the entire exam," Suneeta says.
"Ugh," Bianca now begins to regain consciousness. She slowly sits up "Whats. Is that a Sea Serpent"
"Oh look who's up from her nap," Ezekiel says leaning on a tree next to her.
"Good you awake," Azalea says as hurries from where she was as she kneels down to Bianca "A lot of things went down"
Bianca looks around her. "Valerus" as she looks closer "is he alright?"
"Yes he is he just needs to rest"

Footsteps approach from behind Bianca.
She turns around to see Eriko. "Am so sorry I couldn't protect him I know you and him are-"
Eriko kneels down to Bianca and holds her "It's alright you did your best."

"Well, that was pretty easy" Faith remarks. "He could've ended it at any time"
"No that's wrong," Axel says. Faith turns to Axel "How?:" "He couldn't have done that earlier. That blast he delivered was the same blast from earlier and that did damage the beast but it was the combined effort of Ezekiel and Jericho's attack that did the trick.
"Looking at it from a viewer's point Jonathan does seem powerful but in actuality he didn't take it out by himself it was all a combined effort to defeat it but now they must find a way to counter its final attack," Luna says.
"There you guys go again on point," Faith says.

"Oh right. The others" I say aloud trying to find my way out.
"Dont worry they'll be fine. When we don't have this talk you'll make it in time."
"Make it in time?" I shook my head in confusion.
