"Ughh..who's calling so early?" Lene mumbles to herself. It's currently 7:45 am on a day off. "Hello?"

"Helllooooooooooo," a familiar voice says with a cheerful tone out Lene's phone speaker.

"Courtney?"

"That's right," Lene can just visualize the girl's mischievous grin as if she was right in front of her.

"Isn't it late for you?" Lene asks as she gets out of bed to wash up, she knows she likely won't be going back to sleep after this call.

"It's only 11 pm, I wanted to call you before going to sleep to ask about something."

"How important can it be that you called me instead of just sending a text?"

"Hmmmm..it's not that important, just wanted to know if you were gonna come to my concert in Korea." Courtney is currently an idol under the company HYBE who debuted recently using her Chinese name, Jingyu, as her stage name.

(IH MY GOD IM CRINGING SO HARD..Sowwy guys HELP MEEEE)

"You know I don't really have the money to fly to Korea and buy a ticket for your concert right."

"Even if I told you I heard rumors that the Hwang Yeji might attend?"

"..WHAT?"

"My makeup artist told me that Yeji told her makeup artist, who happens to know my makeup artist, she was a fan of our group. ISN'T THAT EXCITING??? THE HWANG YEJI LISTENS TO OUR MUSIC AND KNOWS OUR FACES???" Courtney squeals from the other side of the phone.

Lene is in shock. She actually might have a connection to her ult bias? Yeji knows her childhood friend?? Courtney??? Maybe her friend is more successful in her idol career than she realizes.

It was startling when Courtney revealed to Lene that she was flying to Korea for idol auditions out of the blue almost 3 years ago when she had just started getting interested into kpop, or Yeji more specifically. She knew that Courtney wasn't horrendous in singing back then due to their countless karaoke sessions with the entire group..her dancing was another story though. Being an idol was nothing she had ever expected coming out of her friend's mouth in the past. Apparently she had been planning on it for a while but just didn't tell Lene since she wasn't interested in kpop then, which is completely rude..she should've said either way since they were friends smh.

"Are you 100% sure??"

"Uhhh...not really but would you really lose your chance to see your ult bias of 3 years off stage like it's a casual coincidence instead of like a fan. My tickets are definitely cheaper since we're not as popular as itzy."

Courtney was right, Lene definitely would love to see her idol up close instead of on stage once.

"I'll ask my manager." Lene says, she's uncertain she should be making such an impulsive financial decision but.....YOLO.

"I'll see you in Korea then!!!" How can she be so sure Lene's manager will say yes..it's scary how easy going Courtney can be sometimes.
