Death was never a fear of mine until the day my mother died.
My heart dropped. My body became weak and my soul numb.

I would no longer hear her witty advice or feel my mother's love. Hindi ko na masisilayan ang ngiting-ina. Hindi ko na maramdaman pa ang masuyo at mapag-arugang haplos ng mga kamay at yakap niya.
