Not Fond of Talking ● Mitobe Rinnosuke

Being the onee-chan has perks on many different levels. You can't just decide to not being a big sister again, so you're just went with it.

Your mother just asked you to bring your brother to a park for him to play. Because you got nothing to do, since it's weekend and your favorite (tv shows/animes/series/i don't know you decide) just ended.

"Nee-chan, ka-san said you're going to take me to the park," Speak of the devil, your brother came to your room. "Let's go now!"

"Hai, hai, just wait okay?" You told him. He nods, clearly you could see how excited he is going to the park.

To not making your brother wait any longer, you changed your house's clothes to the decent ones, then went out from your medium sized room.

"Let's go," You said to your brother. His eyes lit with excitement so he fastens his pace of walking.

"Nee-chan, hayaku!" His voice rings even though he is like 5 meters ahead you.

After a kind of long walk, you two finally arrived at the park. It was big and spacey, but there are a lot of trees and colorful flowers. Then obviously your brother became wild because he arrived at his desired place.

"Don't go to far!" You shouted. He gave you a thumb up then disappear between peoples who were also in the park.

You sat in an unoccupied bench to relax yourself. Even though you are still doing nothing, it seems less pathetic tan sitting in your room alone. Well you're not that sad.

The fresh air feels like heaven, it is really comforting for you. But your moment of private paradise was broken because someone was sitting beside you.

You open your closed eyes to see who's this dream crusher. Your expression changed because it was Mitobe, your friend from school, both of you were classmate in first year.

"Hey." You greeted him of course aware that you won't get a reply from him. You know he just doesn't like talking.

He bows his slowly gesturing hello. "I don't know you go to this park."

He smiled then points at a group of children who look like him.

"Ahh yes I forgot you have little siblings." You replied. "Well your siblings are very cute."

He chuckles silently. Then made a horn gesture with his fingers.

"Yeah little children could be a devil sometimes." You chuckled too. "I have a little brother he's quite... troublesome."

He chuckles again. Then he just stares at you without explaining anything with his fingers or expression, so you don't know what he was trying to say.

"Gomen, Mitobe, I can't understand what you were trying to say," You admitted.

He shook his head signaling it was okay. "It is weird seeing you without Koganei."

"He's the one who understand your silent words."

You moved your gaze to Mitobe's siblings and recognize the (h/c) boy standing between them with a happy face. Yes, it is your brother who was playing with Mitobe's siblings. They look very happy.

"I guess my brother know your siblings," You said to him to not make the situation between you and him became awkward.

He smiles for a reply. Maybe it's you who are weird but you are just fine with him not talking at all. But well it's getting kind of lonely to not having a conversation partner.

"Nee, Mitobe. Why don't you just write what you're going to talk?" You asked. "I mean to avoid misunderstanding and Koganei doesn't always there to help you, you know."

He thinks for a while then he suddenly takes his phone out and types. He kind of struggles so he was typing for a long time.

It's a good idea. But I am not a fast writer.

You laughs. "I can see that."

"Well why won't you ever talk? Do you like hate your voice?" You asked curiously.

He starts typing again, a lot faster this time.

I don't like my voice to be heard I guess?

"I bet your voice is just fine."

He smiles, touched for your kind words.

No. I don't think so. But your voice is fine.
I love listening to your voice.

You laugh it off to avoid blushing. Then you see his siblings are running to the bench where you and Mitobe were sitting. "Rin-nii let's go home!"

"Yes Rin-nii! I'm hungry." The other said with same tone. For a boy who doesn't talk, his siblings are quite talkative the very opposite of him.

Mitobe nods to his siblings then types before he stood up and leave.

I'm happy I meet you in the park today (l/n). See you at school.

You reply with just a smile, well you have no rights to make him stay anyway.

But at night you received a text from an unknown number. "My siblings want to go to the park again tomorrow, they said they want to play with your brother. They describe your brother as the one who has beautiful sister."

Sadly you can't avoid blushing right now.
