I want to know why he has the collar..and who gave it to him..
Valentino's POV
Honestly, I can't really explain why I wear this collar but I'll try my best. Long ago, I made a horrible soul deal, a mistake that..I'm stuck in now.. I haven't told any of them yet. But I don't plan to, knowing the types of danger they could be in if he finds me.
We kept walking until he found tail's plane..but no tails.. everyone went to look at the plane, finding it broken and out of oil, I went to engrave a heart into another tree with my knife. Then I went over to help. As I was helping them look for any signs of tail's or what direction he went, I begun to sing 'favorite by Isabel LaRosa'
"Darling, can I be your favorite, I'll be your girl, let you taste it." I sang, my eyes widening while I heard shadow singing along
"Darling, can I be your favorite, want you to tell me you crave it" he sang "my name's whatever you make it" we sang together at the same time, I looked at him with a surprise look on my face, I didn't expect that..he smirked with a chuckle and walked off to knuckles. I couldn't help but smile with a little quiet giggle, my smile faded when I heard a familiar voice calling me by heartess..an old nickname I used to go by, the crew didn't know that thought. I glanced back at the trees and saw a familiar shadow..and a smirk until it disappeared. I swallowed hard and kept quiet. I don't know who that was but that voice and that smirk was familiar but I can't place a finger on it yet all I knew..was I wasn't safe in these woods. Even with the crew, whoever was that had to be someone who knows me, someone who hates me I guess..since they knew the name I used to go by..heartess
Now I just go by Valentino or Val which are common nicknames, but heartess..that was a long time ago, when I lived back at a place named beauty, there were lots of people there, mobian wizards, demons, angels, even overlords. Overlords scared me most of the time, knowing they were after my power and my soul, I used to hide under my mask, but I think it's too late to hide now, whoever that is..must have already seen my face. I'm scared honestly but I have to keep a stern face, so I don't concern the others
"He's not here!" Knuckles said with his hand on his hip. I sighed and stood up, fixing my red gloves as shadow walked next to me. I ignored him as usual.
"Hey sonic, did you find anything?" I said calmly, he didn't reply "sonic?" I repeated, the others looking around until I heard Sonic's scream and looked at the same tree I looked at earlier "shit.." I whispered to myself as I saw him with someone grabbing him, I growled and quickly ran towards them, shadow, knuckles, rouge, the others followed.
I noticed my collar glowing pink, and I knew who exactly who that was(another sonic of of mine!)..I gulped out of nervousness but I wasn't letting my friend get hurt by him though. I took out my spear and slashed the person back, gritting my teeth with anger and annoyance, my collar glowed more as I stood in front of sonic with my spear in my hand while the person stood in front of me.
"Psycho.." I growled under my breath, glaring up at the person.
Shadow's POV
What the hell is going on!? Who is this person? Why is Valentino's collar glowing? What the hell..
"Valentino" I hissed "who is that?" I asked, gritting my teeth as I stared at Valentino then glared up at the person..he didn't answer me. But he looked pissed in my view. I gently grabbed sonic who was panting and scared, like he just saw a ghost.
"Hello, heartess.." I heard the person speak, lifting my head to him, heartess? Is he talking about Valentino? Who is this shit lock? My eyes widened when I saw chains appear around Valentino's neck, I was about to grab him until knuckles pulled me back, his eyes were wide in horror as if he knew what the chains meant..what dkd they mean?
"Valentino!" I called out as the person pulled the chain, bringing Valentino to his knees, causing him to groan and drop his spear, I grew anger and worry as I squirmed in knuckle's arms
"Don't touch him!!" I shouted as the chains started to tighten around Valentino's neck, I grew more and more angry, yet more and more worried for Valentino
