seungkwan was laid out on mingyu's couch, arms and chin resting on the armrest as he felt his eyes flutter close. he could hear wonwoo and mingyu laughing in the kitchen, and the young boy didn't have the heart to look at them any longer. so when mingyu asked if he was tired, seungkwan just said yes and pretended to take a nap. coincidentally enough, he did end up falling asleep.
seungkwan thinks that he needs more time. while he knows he is happiest when he is with his friends, he can still feel the lingering remnants of his love for wonwoo deep in the back of his mind.
oddly enough, as the days have gone by, he has started thinking of them less and less. which sounds nearly unfathomable to the boy, seeing that he spends all of his free time with them. but as time has passed, he's felt less jealous. instead of looking at wonwoo and mingyu longingly, he's felt extremely warm at the sight of them. he's happy that they're happy. and if that meant he had to sit in the sidelines and watch the man he still loves with another, he would just suck it up and accept it.
of course, this didn't mean that a tinge of sadness wouldn't hit him at the oddest moments. this was one of those moments.
seungkwan heard quiet footsteps approaching him, along with the accompaniment of his friends' soft chuckles. he felt someone kneel in front of him and someone else kneel down next to him. seungkwan wasn't sure what either of them had planned, but he just pretended to still be asleep. he was sure they were going to mess with him somehow, but in his half asleep state, he didn't really care.
seungkwan felt a hand on his back and he tensed up slightly, worried that one of them were going to do something. he heard wonwoo chuckle in his ear as he leaned in and said, "kwan-ah, we know you're not asleep."
seungkwan shook his head softly as he burrowed himself further into the couch. "i am asleep." he murmured into the couch cushions, adding a few fake snores for good measure.
mingyu ran a hand through seungkwan's hair as he said, "we know your snores don't sound like that, kwannie."
seungkwan shot his head up, pushing mingyu away as he shouted, "i don't snore at all!"
"wow, did he just hit you in his sleep?" wonwoo said jokingly, crossing his legs as he sat down on the floor next to the couch.
seungkwan shot a glare at wonwoo as he pushed him as well. both boys laughed at their younger friend, poking and prodding at him to bother him. this continued on for a few minutes until seungkwan sat up and began to hit them, which resulted into a full on brawl. tired from their play fighting, the three boys sat down on the floor, staring into nothing as they tried to catch their breath.
seungkwan turned to mingyu, a sweet smile on his lips as he leaned on the older boy's arm and asked, "hyung, are you hungry?"
"nope."
"are you sure? wonwoo and i are really hungry." seungkwan said, turning to wonwoo and seeing the boy nodding along.
mingyu glanced at the two of them, smirking as he crossed his arms and looked away. "that's crazy." he said, leaning back onto the couch with a small chuckle.
seungkwan groaned loudly, turning to face wonwoo as he said, "hyung, tell your boyfriend to cook for us."
"i have a name." mingyu huffed.
wonwoo had a teasing smile on his face as he said, "i don't know. i like the sound of wonwoo's boyfriend."
"me, too." mingyu smiled brightly, leaning over seungkwan and giving wonwoo a peck on the lips. wonwoo leaned into it almost immediately, pulling the boy closer by the collar of his shirt.
