"This isn't him; I don't understand why I need to keep doing this." A man's voice breaks out an echo, in the silence that's been my mind.

A rough, deeper voice snaps back at the other. "Do as I say commander. I don't care who he is not, but we know which family he is linked to."

The younger voice wearily fights back. "Of course, sire, I just thought that with-"

"-See there is your problem, youre thinking, dont. I think for you. So shut your mouth and do as I say, or you'll be next to go on that table." The rough voice shouts.

The absence of sound is loud before the pang of a door slamming rattles though the room. The pound of steps grow louder as the sound becomes closer.

The brush of lips grazes my ear as a whisper floats into my head. "Olim vivus, dein mortuus, nunc inter velamen saltans. tenebris strangulatus atra. anima tua mea est, donec mors nos obruat ambos."

At first I dont recognize the language until a rush of suffocating pain squeezes my lungs and spine. My body shaking on thee hard table, I've been strapped to. I would gasp for breath but my mouth is still unable to open.

Suddenly the Latin words translate in my brain one by one as the spell of control becomes me.

Once alive,

then dead,

but now dancing between the veils.

Strangled with the absence of light.

Forbidden to leave the darkness.

Your soul is mine,

until death drowns us both.
