In which, the suns need their moons on more than one occasion and in more than one ways.

LUCY AND AURELIA, hadn't spoken a single word throughout their time at the academy, and now they're spending every moment of every day together. with the shortage of training officers, aurelia and lucy get placed with hard-ass officer tim bradford. aurelia is the black cat, while lucy is the golden retriever. it's safe to say they don't get along, until rosalind comes along and aurelia bitterly pushes lucy towards caleb out of jealousy. is it envy? or does she want her as more than a friend? black cat and golden retriever.

ANGELA AND OLIVE, rookie and training officer, midnight and sunshine - the sun and the moon example two. the sun cannot live without its moon, and here the moon is angela. olive cannot live without angela, which is why when angela and olive accidentally sleep together the night before olives first day, angela does everything she can to get a new rookie. but olive can't live without her moon, and (literally) gets on her knees to beg angela for another chance. midnight and sunshine.

WILLIAM AND JACKSON, one who could have never found himself falling for someone like that - a man - and one who found himself falling over and over again. william hated that he was the only normal training officer, meaning he hated the way he fell into easy conversation with jackson and he hated the way the rookie made him feel. because you didn't feel things for rookies. especially not when he is the sun and you want to be the stars (but you're really the moon). the sun and the moon.
