Ready for Riley part 2 (YouNower special)

Riley and I spent the whole day playing video games and having tickle wars and pillow fights.
We were both pretending this morning hadn't happened but I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was in my head all day.
Maybe I should mention it? Maybe Riley would get mad?
My thoughts were interrupted by Riley throwing a pillow at me "Katherine? Hello?"
"Oh sorry I was thinking"
"About what?"
"Nothing important what's up?"
"Wanna go to the fair tonight? It's their last night in town." I nodded and Riley smiled "Perfect, I'm going to get ready, pick you up in 30?"
"sounds good, see you then" Riley kissed my forehead before leaving and I couldn't help but smile, maybe Riley was into me like that

Riley and I arrived at the fairgrounds, eager to get some food. We both got caught up in video games that neither of us had eaten all day. We paid for our bracelets and went in, quickly moving through the animals.
"it stinks in there" Riley laughed while I scrunched up my nose trying to relieve the smell.
"Indeed it does princess" he chuckled and took my hand, intertwining our fingers. I smiled at the motion and we walked hand in hand to the blooming onion cart.
Blooming onions are our favorite, every year since we've been friends we go to the fair the last night and share a blooming onion, a cotton candy and we ride the Ferris wheel. It's our tradition and we've never broken it.
Riley ordered the onion while I went to get our cotton candy and two sodas. I quickly got back and sat beside Riley, smiling.
"I love that we do this every year. It's something to look forward too" Riley suddenly looked down and took a bite of the onion "Yeah, traditions are great" something was up but I wasn't going to press. We sat in silence just listening to the sounds around us, eating our blooming onion and sipping our drinks.
When the onion was gone, Riley got up to throw it away, before helping me up. We walked hand in hand, nibbling our cotton candy around the fair. I looked at different stuffed animals at the different games and smiled. Every single one had a Panda. My favorite animal.
Riley stopped in front of one game and handed the guy 5 dollars, he got 10 chances. He made it on the first 4 and looked over to me "Pick our prize beautiful" I blushed "the panda" Riley shook his head "I should have known"
The guy handed me the panda, which was nearly as tall as me and we went on our way "Ferris wheel?" "Ferris wheel" "Maybe Ferris Wheel will be our always" "Oh shut up Riley, let's go"
We jogged over to the Ferris wheel and got in the short line, finally making our way up, we handed the guys our tickets and he said he'd watch my panda for me, so we got on the ride, leaving our panda sit.
Riley held my hand the entire ride up, and it stopped suddenly at the top. "Are you ready " he smiled "For what" "Me?" He leaned over and lightly pressed his lips to mine, I smiled into the kiss eagerly returning it, his hand cupped my cheek, while mine sat at his hip. Mid kiss fireworks started to go off and Riley broke the kiss "Look up" I looked up and in fireworks it said "Be mine?" I smiled and blushes brightly, he planned this. "of course I will Riley" I lightly kissed him again.
Perfect ending to a perfect day.
