Chapter 15: Whenever Two Shous Meet, There Must Be a Gong (15)
As soon as Yue Chu stepped off the aircraft, he saw Wei Xieyang standing at the school gate waiting for him. A smile involuntarily spread across his face as he hurried over.
Wei Xieyang was momentarily dazzled by this radiant smile, feeling as if he wanted to open his arms to embrace the person before him. However, he realized that Yue Chu just stopped in front of him, his disappointment evident as he let his arms drop.
Yue Chu: "Your Highness, were you waiting for me?"
Wei Xieyang nodded, producing a box of candies from somewhere. Inside were colorful lollipops, their wrappers sparkling brilliantly in the sunlight.
Wei Xieyang held the box out to Yue Chu. "Which one would you like? Feel free to pick."
Yue Chu didn't hesitate to choose, opening the box and selecting a strawberry-flavored one for himself. He then peeled another one and handed it to Wei Xieyang.
Wei Xieyang noted his choice and after putting the box away, he directly took Yue Chu's backpack and put it on his back. Then, he opened a large black umbrella and held it over their heads, casting a shadow that enveloped Yue Chu.
Such a delicate fellow, afraid of the sun. What would he do if he followed him to the military in the future? No, he needed to come up with a solution...
Prince Wei Xieyang, who was already worrying about the future before graduation, was probably going to lose a few more hairs today.
Yue Chu couldn't help but chuckle inwardly, realizing that the things he had once said were now being applied to himself. However... he raised an eyebrow slightly as he looked at the distance between himself and Wei Xieyang.
Wei Xieyang still maintained his icy demeanor as before, but upon closer inspection, one would notice that he was as stiff as a block of wood, with his facial expression seeming like carved lines. There was a distance of thirty centimeters between him and Yue Chu. To hold the umbrella for Yue Chu, his arm stretched out so long that just looking at the posture made one feel uncomfortable.
Was he too nervous?
Yue Chu chuckled lightly, suddenly finding Wei Xieyang a bit adorable. He gently held the hand that was holding the umbrella, causing Wei Xieyang to tremble all over.
Yue Chu: "I'd like to be closer to Your Highness, is that okay?"
Wei Xieyang took two steps towards him until their sleeves brushed against each other before he stopped.
This was Yue Chu's request, and he never refused his lover's requests, Wei Xieyang thought solemnly.
Yue Chu noticed his crimson ears but pretended not to. The sweet taste of strawberries melted in his mouth, making his smile even more pronounced.
"Xieyang?"
A familiar voice sounded, and Yue Chu stopped in his tracks to look over. He saw Du Guzhou walking towards them from a nearby path.
Oh, the protagonist has arrived.
Wei Xieyang's gaze turned cold, but his heart remained calm. Although Du Guzhou was the catalyst for all of this, his mistake was simply indifference. He wouldn't resent Du Guzhou, but from now on, they would be strangers, each going their separate ways.
