As he slowly awoke, Dark Markery felt as if he had his arm around somebody's shoulder whilst he was asleep... which was at something past 4am.

They both had been trying to pull an all nighter together for no real reason, they both just felt like it. Oh, and to see who would fall asleep first.

Opening his eyes, he realized that it had been Danger, still looking to be sleeping peacefully, leaning onto him. Dark blushed a bit, as he subconsciously pulled him closer.

"Oh... you're awake too?" Danger muttered, opening his eyes and looking up. "Don't worry; I don't mind us just lying here together."

"Wait... you pretended to be asleep?"

"Nah, I did wake up before you, but..." he confessed, laughing to himself. "I kinda just wanted to stay resting with you for a bit longer, that's all!"

Dark laughed just a little bit in response, saying that he didn't mind it either, and if anything he liked it... just a tiny bit. He's too tsundere to admit he loved it.

"So... when'd you fall asleep?"

"About 4:25... did I win?" Danger replied, as Dark Markery remembered that he did at around 4:40, and was unsure whether to lie or not...

On one hand, it wouldn't be a lie, and he could flex that he stayed up longer...
But on the other hand, it was Danger, and he'd be willing to lie if it made him feel better...

"...Ah fuck, I did at 4:15!" he laughed, watching as a sparkle flickered in Danger's eyes. "You won, dear..."

"YAY! Man, Difficulty Chart's gonna be so surprised! And Serenity will probably kill me for staying up late again..."

Dark smiled to himself, because even if he wanted to admit to winning... he'd let it slide if it meant that he could look at Danger being happy...

Meanwhile, Danger was grabbing some toy in a corner of the Dimension of Darkness, specifically one that started off as a cube, but would fold into another shape... but it would always lead back to a cube.

"Say... how come you always make sure to have my favourite ones?" he asked, as he played around with it while walking back over to Dark Markery. "Hell, it's even yellow too! But like, is it a coincidence or what?"

"...I'm gonna be honest, it's not a coincidence." he replied, looking away, and onto the ground. "Like, if someone meant a lot to you, you'd want to get them things they liked, right?"

"So... you purposefully found one like this... for me?" Danger asked in surprise, holding the infinite cube and rotating it a bit. He turned to Dark Markery, who had chuckled just a tiny bit.

"I guess you could say that..." Dark muttered, trying to hide his blushing. Danger laughed, and just thanked him over it, hugging him. "Heh, no problem, my beloved Danger..."

{meanwhile...}

"So... what's up?" Vermillion asked, as Monkey Hat had asked her to talk behind the pyramid in the desert. "Lemme guess, it's about Foliage?"

"Well... sort of..." Monkey Hat replied, twindling her fingers. "Like, it's more to do with what's happened to them..." she admitted, still deep in thought.

The thoughts in the back of her mind screamed out, saying that she had to do something if she really loved Foliage that much... but at the same time, would it be worth it?

An eye for an eye... but is murder on the same level as trapping one in the past for ten years? That one not even being herself? Monkey Hat couldn't seem to decide on her own... she needed help to make that choice.
