(MASSIVE CW: s--cide)
(july 23rd, 4:35am)
Alright... got it. The sun hasn't even came up yet, there's no way anyone can interrupt this. I've been planning this out for weeks now, this can't fuck up.
Was this really how it'd all end for me? I used to be so happy, always smiling, and looking at the bright side of things... where did that go?
Oh... right... it went where they went... and now I'm finally coming to find them. If only my last few days were better... no, what am I talking about? They were nice...
...if only I didn't snap at her...
...
I'm sorry. All she did was ask if I was okay... what was I thinking?! She just asked me a simple question, and then I yelled at her over NOTHING.
I deserve this.
I'm sorry, Khaki.
Tightly gripping onto something, Marker turned to his house's door, sighing to himself. Crayon stayed asleep on the couch, as he took one more glance at the scenery, a single tear falling down.
He gently opened the door, making sure that nobody would hear him. Staring at the sunrise outside, he closed it behind him, before holding up what he had been clutching onto.
Then, he began to walk further, and further away, as his mind drifted off, feeling the upcoming odd mixture between total bliss and total dread. But then again, he reassured himself, knowing that soon... there will be nothing to worry about.
It all moved so slowly, but it all moved so quickly at the same time. He wasn't even sure how long he was walking - seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years? But whatever, it didn't matter.
Making it to the spawn, he silently stepped onto his pedestal, and got on it completely. He watched as the sun truly rose, smiling bittersweetly.
An orange shine absorbed the dark purple sky as a shining ball began to step up, sending out rays of light to every last corner it saw. It began to get lighter, and wound up being its yellow that everyone knew the sun for.
Marker stayed silent whilst watching, even loosening his grip on a thing a tiny bit, in complete awe at the beauty of it all.
Too bad that this was going to be the last one.
...
*THUD!*
Someone knelt up from the ground, seemingly confused as to where they were. Marker stood there in shock, but also some form of excitement, as they looked up at him, and he began to smile.
"Oh, hi! You're new here." Marker called out, holding out a hand for that person. They took it, before rubbing their head, asking where they were. "Well... you're in the land of the markers, I think... I dunno, this place doesn't really have a name!"
"Heh, I like your honesty." they replied, giving Marker a shine in his eyes and an even happier smile. Seeing that made them smile a bit as well, like it was some kind of contagious disease - happiness.
"Thank you! You seem nice already, what's your name?" Marker asked, pulling them up onto their feet.
"...I'm [Player], nice to meet you. What's yours?"
"I'm Marker! Well, Purple Marker to be exact, but I just prefer Marker."
"Well, if you prefer it... then I don't mind it. Whatever makes you happy." [Player] replied, before sitting down on the pedestal. "So what do you all do here?"
