please don't leave me
don't leave like everyone else did
they all plead
and it pains me
that you think I wouldyou're such a treasure
you don't even notice it
I want so keep you
like a pirate keeps his treasure
safely within his ship
because the thought
that you think you're worth leaving
rips me apart
like crashing waves a sailing shipstick around, let me proof you
that you're worth staying
even when you feel powerless
and your hope is dustI'll love you
as long as you'll let me
I'll hold you
whenever you need me
and give you space
space that becomes air
when you feel like
you can't breathe anymoreanyone
who ever left or hurt you
who ever threw your love overboard
has none of my sympathy
because I cany understand
how someone can
- in their right mind -
leave you behindI won't stand aside
won't watch with a frown
while others abandon
and leave this love to drown
