Don't love you back

If I tell you that I love you too
It would be empty words

Like a poem written in verse
Whose objective is just to rhyme

It don't expresses anything
Or at least not the truth

Knowing it's unfair
I still do it without remorse

I said I loved you too
Sorry I lied, I didn't do

Someone broke my heart
Now I am breaking yours

I know It's unfair
But fairness never works here

Cause same I have faced
You are stronger than me I may say

I know I shouldn't be doing it
But I don't love you back I've to repeat

I tried making it easier for you
To let me go away from you

I tried being rough
So you leave me yourself

'Is this day tough?'
You excused my behaviour with that

I tried my best doing bad
And that did made you sad

But at the end of the day
I still love you, you said

I'm sorry I have to do this
I don't love you back I have to repeat

I know it's unfair
But I promise, it wouldn't hurt

You'll cry for few months
And then you'll overcome

Saying that, I lied again
'Cause overcome don't happen in true love
It just aches

Truth is it would really hurt

It wouldn't let you live
It wouldn't let you die

Somewhere in the back of your head
While you are making love with someone else

You will miss me
And never forget

You will hate me
But you will soon learn

That hate isn't opposite of love
It's just form of wounded love

My memory will haunt you like a curse
When you will think of anyone except us

I've had experience
Now it's your turn

That's not your fault
You are suffering for

But neither it's mine
We could blame this on situation
Or maybe on time

Someone broke my heart
So I'm breaking yours

Someday you'll break someone else's
Soon you'll understand

Instead of good bye
It's not you it's me, I said

But it wasn't me neither
It was someone else
