Hello, how is everyone doing? I'm sorry for making you wait this long for this chapter. I started watching Black Clover, and Wind Breaker and re-watched Demon Slayer and Haikyuu, I also started to read Tower of God and lost my sense of time.

If someone is confused about whether others know about Shang Qinghua being the author, the answer is no. They don't know that information yet. The only ones who know about that are Shen Yuan, Daisy, and Calista.

I'm sorry for not posting the complete chapter. I got sick :( But as soon as I got better you will get the whole thing.

Chapter 2: Abused Protagonist

As the lights dimmed and the room fell into an anticipatory hush, two figures appeared on the podium. One was fanning himself with the kind of theatrical flair that only someone deeply invested in their own melodrama could muster. At the same time, the other wore a grin so smug it could have sold snake oil to a desert nomad.

When the lights fully came up, the guests were revealed, and the audience's mild surprise quickly turned into knowing nods. Of course, it was them.

"Welcome, Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu. Thank you for gracing us with your presence," Daisy said, her smile so bright it could outshine the sun as she sashayed toward the newcomers. Yes, standing before them were none other than the PIDW Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe.

"Great," muttered SVSSS Shen Qingqiu under his breath, "because one Binghe wasn't enough." He made sure to keep these thoughts to himself. After all, the last thing he wanted was to deal with two Luo Binghes who were in a bad mood.

"Well, it wasn't like I had much of a choice," the PIDW Shen Qingqiu said bitterly, his fan working overtime to express his exasperation. Daisy nervously chuckled and quickly cleared her throat, stepping closer to the duo. Once she was within speaking distance, she stopped, her demeanour switching to one of earnest apology.

"I'm truly sorry for the... abrupt manner in which you were brought here. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive me," she said, her eyes welling up with crocodile tears. PIDW Shen Qingqiu remained silent, but Luo Binghe saw his chance and strode forward, gently taking Daisy's hand.

"Don't worry, Lady Daisy. I could never be angry at such a charming young woman, ev-" he said with a voice as sweet as honey. But before he could finish his saccharine speech, Daisy slapped his hand away with such force that the sound echoed through the room. She took two full steps back, positioning herself behind the PIDW Shen Qingqiu and started to glare at him as though he was the most disgusting beginning on Earth.

SVSSS Luo Binghe stifled a laugh, while SVSSS Shen Qingqiu couldn't help but smirk behind his fan. "Two for the price of one drama," he thought, enjoying the spectacle more than he cared to admit. Though he couldn't ever imagine that Daisy would do something like that.

Even the PIDW Shen Qingqiu was too surprised to react. This was the first time he saw someone, especially a girl, slap that beast's hand away and try to hide behind him of all people.

As for the PIDW Luo Binghe, he was dumbfounded. It was the first time his smile hadn't charmed a girl instantly. He stood there, frozen, unsure how to process this unprecedented turn of events.

Not just them—everyone was stunned by Daisy's bold move. Daisy was always so friendly and accommodating, always going out of her way to make everyone comfortable. To see her slap her guest's hand and then hide was a twist nobody saw coming. Except Calista.
