the fire lake pirates indeed arent idiots like the mortals they are able to spy on them and can most likely tell what they are really up to they are also using some secret advanced devices to actually spy on them mingi uses this detecting device to find out what powers they use on themselves and if they use an invisibility spell for example the device would be able to track there silhouttes down and see where they are"
