"How have things been with Harry?" Dumbledore asked the three Gryffindors sitting in front of him.

"He's been a real prat; he ignores us in the halls and refuses to speak to us." Hermione huffed, crossing her arms.

"And he hasn't returned to the dorms either, and he won't tell us where he sleeps either. And when we try to follow him, he disappears," Ron said.

Dumbledore frowned, the normal twinkle in his eyes absent as he looked at the three. "What about you, Miss Weasley? Have you had any luck with Harry?" Dumbledor asked, and Ginny huffed.

"No, I haven't. He doesn't come to meals, and when he does, he doesn't eat or drink anything. I'm tired of wasting potions on him. I have tried almost every day since school started to get to him, but he avoids me." Ginny snapped, and Dumbledor nodded.

"It seems that we need to try harder," Dumbledore said. Alright, get to class; I know what has to be done to get Harry back on track." The three Gryffindors stood and exited the office.

Dumbledore went behind his desk and pulled out a piece of parchment. He wrote a note on it before duplicating it and sending it off.

'I hope this works,'  he thought to himself. I have to get Harry back in my grasp before he slips away any further,' he thought, popping a lemon drop in his mouth before smiling to himself, confident that his plan would work.

He pulled out another piece of parchment and wrote another note before calling a house elf. "Make sure this gets delivered to Harry," He said, and the house-elf pooped away.
