This is one of my overall number one favorite animes I loved the characters and the story as well as the character development throughout the two seasons that are currently out, but here's what I think...
Story's plot- Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido's sister-in-law, Kotori, tells him that the girl is called "Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit", which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says, "I don't ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world."
Personal review- Now... I know how lame that summery was but I swear it's actually a great anime if you like romance and Sci-Fi. Now I don't like Mecha or Sci-Fi when it comes to anime but it didn't mater once the third episode was over I was just like, *Throws away Koneko x Issei* "Forget any other ship ShidoxTohka is the best." The kiss scene could not have been better animated or better played, it was the best romance scene from anime currently in my list. (Edit: Not anymore) I also loved how Origami acted and interacted with Shido and the other various characters in the show.

Wow, our first A level anime, now let me explain why it got the ratings it did. First the visuals were astounding, the intro was well colored and animated, there actions were clean and flush with there environment. the story was ok for someone just starting anime, but if you have seen more than 5 the chances are you will find it pretty average. and the end, however, well done in my opinion. they ended it fine, aka not on a cliffhanger and they also announced a movie coming out soon to keep us excited, can't wait for more.
