After a tragic accident during their childhood, Jinta and his group of friends split apart and live separate lives. Now in high school, the group is drawn together once more by an unknown force. AnoHana, short for Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day), is a drama and slice-of-life series following the lives of these students and the friendship they once had, as they rediscover guilt, anger, friendship, happiness, and so much more.
Will Jinta Yadomi, Tetsudou Hisakawa, Naruko Anjou, Matsuyuki Atsumu, and Chiriko Tsurumi find the strength to repair broken bonds?
personal review-
Forgive me if you loved this show but what im about to say about it is harsh. I didn't hate this anime, But i think it was Boring, Stupid and illogical. It really only served to frustrate me at the end. I cared about Menma sure, Even Poppo, But everyone else i could care less. Naruko, The girl with the orange hair, yeah shes a Jerk. The two prep kids, Assholes Check. Main character, Loser. I couldn't really get attacked to these characters if you forced me to. I mean Naruko Especially, I mean the main character is going insane from her point of view and all she can do as a "Friend" is throw herself at him and then start insulting him. I mean he is talking about their dead friend and she literately tries to make a move on him!! WHY!!! And they play it off like "Oh its ok because she loved him when they were kids to so its ok if now that he is being haunted by the person he actually loved for her to again make a move. not like she should have done that when he was still acting normal." the Ending, i really didn't care, it seemed like they were just going to start killing each other at that point anyway. Like honestly if Menma had not been visible to the rest there was no way in hell they could have stayed friends. Im sure if the Prep guy had been the last one left he would have just kept all of their bodies and played with them anyway.

I know at this point most of you are trying to put some dark curse on me. I know most of you will disagree with my review and thats fine, im not saying not to watch it it has really high ratings and most of you probably would really like it. But i don't think it had what it takes for me. as most will disagree i don't think there is a point in me writing the rating review.
