Meeting the second in charge

*Vik's POV*

I wake up to a shout in my ear. "What the heck, what do you wan-" I open my eyes into slits and realize its only Brandon, my friend. "Oh sorry." I apologize. "Nah, its cool." He says while sitting next to me. "So why should I be awake now?" I say trying not to sound rude. "Oh, boss told me that he wanted to speak to you." Brandon looks at me worriedly. "OK thanks." I say while getting up and changing. (Also both angels and devils have wings, devil wings are red, and angel wings are white with a tint of light blue) Im actually great friend with my boss, his name is Rob. I head out of my room and fly to the tallest flower, which is where Rob lives.
"Hey Vik." Rob says when I land. "Hey, so what's wrong?" I ask worried. "Its nothing to worry about.....much." Rob says while looking at me with a serious face. I just nod waiting for him to give me an order or something. "I need you to do a couple of things while your down there." Rob says ignoring my shocked face. "OK what do I have to do?" I ask. He lists them out.
"I need you yo get some flower dust from Preston for my home to carry on living. (Because he lives in a flower, duh where els would rob a dob flob live?) And I need you to give some of their new born devils our dust so they can survive. Also you have to plan out a festival with Lachlan who is the second in charge devil and you know, get yo know him because that is your duty as a second in charge angel since your new at this." Rob finally finished. "Wow that is a lot to do, but I guess I have no choice do?" I day with my pouty face. "No, no you dont." Rob says laughing. *sad face* Even though we are not aloud to see the devils unless we are sent there we still have to help their newborns survive with our dust that we keep in our safe. I'm new at this second in charge thing so I have to know the most important devils.

+Lachlan's POV+

I wake up to Mitch again. "Do we have to do watch duty again?" He nods. *sigh* "OK let me just change and I'll be out in a second." I say. "OK but hurry because Preston said that the second in charge angel will be coming down and we have to escort him to Preston. And he and you have to plab out a festival." Mitch finishes and leaves. Oh yeah I forgot about that I say in my head. (Instead of saying 'second in charge' im just going to say 'SEC' so make it easier) I finish changing and head out after Mitch. "I wonder what the SEC is going to look like?" Mitch says. "Me too, I hope he's nice because we have to cooporate for the festival planning." I joke.

A couple of minuets later I see an angel flying down. This must be the SEC. Mitch looks at me and then at the SEC. He walked up to us and said, "Hi, I'm the SEC and my name is Vik." He says while looking at both of us. "I'm Mitch, and this is the SEC, Lachlan." Mitch says in a casual tone. "Nice to meet you." Vik says while we escort him to our boss, Preston. I give him a friend my smile and he smiles back. I see him blush a little and I look away. "Hey, Vik is it?" Preston says when we arrive. Mitch leaves when Preston told him to. "Yes." Vik says looking very calm. No angel is ever calm when they meet Preston for the first time, Vik must be brave. "So here are our newborns." Preston says while leading him to where they are. Preston takes a step back as Vik spreads the dust over the 3 little devils. I watch his arms and the way he smiled when he sprinkled the dust. He's a natural at this. He catchese staring when he's finished. I look away immediately feeling embarrassed. "Thanks, and here is the dust for Rob's lovely flower home." Preston says while handing him a small sack of it.
"OK, you two plan out the festival." Preston says while heading out to go back to his room. Now its just Vik and I. "So your Lachlan, right?" Vik asks. The way he said my name made me feel like I could callaps at any moment. "Y-yes." I say trying not to stutter, but dumb me I did. UGH! It feels weird for me to have to look down at Vik, I mean he is only shorter than me by 5 or so inches but it still feels weird in a way. "Oh I know what we should do!" Vik shouts. "And what is that Vik?" I ask back. "We should feature our bosses." Vik says. "I like the way you think Vik." I say and we both start laughing. "I can't believe nobody has ever thought of featuring their own bosses for all these years." I say still laughing. "Let's get started then." Vik says. We head out of Hell and away from Heaven to where we have our festivals. We start adding more and more ideas. We also fool around even though we're not aloud to, nobody can see us so who cares. Then Vik trips on a rock and I catch him before he falls face down on the ground. (Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground, ohhhh, ohhhh.... Sorry I had to it was the perfect moment heheheheh) He looks at me and then looks away. I start to blush hopping he doesn't see. "Thanks." Vik says standing back up straight. We both stand there and look at each other for a little while until he breaks the silence saying, "We should get back to work." "Yeah." I say and we continue planning out the festival.

*Vik's POV*

When I cane down I was greeted by 2 devils. They told me theirs names, one was Mitch, and the other was Lachlan the SEC just like me. Lachlan seems really nice. They escort me to their boss, Preston. I spread the dust on the 3 newborns and look to my right and notice Lachlan staring at me. Preston gives me the dust for Robs flower and leaves so Lachlan and I van plan out the festival. (I'm too lazy to redo the whole conversation with Lachlan and Vik. You already know from Lachlan's perspective and I'm just highlighting the most important bits.) I thought of an idea where we feature our bosses in the festival. Lachlan and I start to crack up because nobody has ever thought of it. We head out to where the festival will be held and start planning some more. Then stupid me, I tripped on a rock. Lachlan catches me and I stare into his eyes. His blood read eyes making me blush. I stand back up and we just look at each other for a few moments. His dirty blonde hair and blood red eyes that perfectly matches the hoodie he is wearing. His red wings aligned with midnight black, just like the color of my hair. He is also very tall and looks adora-wait what the heck Vik, what are you thinking. Then I break the silence and say, "We should get back to work." "Yeah." He says as we start planning for the festival again.
