Changes

*Lachlan's POV*

     I wake up to a sleeping Vik on top of me. He looks so adorable. I hear my name being called. It gets closer and closer every second I waste. I shake Vik hoping that he wakes up.
His eyes open to small slits and I guess he could hear my name being called as well because his eyes opened up all the way. "I have to go, see you later tonight. I can't get caught." Vik says and gets up. I give him a kiss on the cheek and he flys up leveling me all alone.

     I search for where my name was being called. "There you are Lachlan, you have been missing for the past 3 nights and I don't know where you keep going to." Preston says as he nears me. "I haven't been able to sleep at all, so I go for walks." I lye. I feel bad lying, but I have to if I want to keep seeing Vik. "Ok, well you have watch duty again so go get dressed and be back here in 20 minuets." Preston says. I obey and nod my head. I fly past Preston and go to my room. I get dressed and go to my designated area. "There you are Lachlan, Preston has been looking for you for ages. I guess he found you though." Mitch says. "Uh yeah I haven't been ab,e to sleep lately so I have been going for walks." I lye again to keep my secret.

     "You know you don't have to keep a secret, I'm your best friend and I wouldn't tell a single soul if you didn't want me to." Mitch says. I can tell he means what he says. I sigh. "Ok, but no soul can know what I am doing, ok?" I ask Mitch before I tell him. He nods and listens for what I will tell him. I look around and make sure nobody els can hear. "I have been meeting up with Vik for the past 3 nights." I whisper. He looks shocked. "But....I thought Vik would never lie, it's against the codes. Also what you guys are doing is also against the codes." Mitch says still shocked. "Yeah, I know which is why you can tell anyone." I say. He nods his head. "I always knew you liked Vik." He smirks. I turn around to look at Mitch. "How did you know?" I ask because I am curious. "It's obvious, the way you look at him, how you always talk about him, and especially when you blush whenever you are around him." Mitch finishes. Is it really that obvious? "Well, let's just finish our job and head back.

*time skip to after watch*

 
     We finished our watch but decide to stay longer to chat a bit. "Do you think it would be safe if I let Vik explore Hell. Would any one notice at night?" I ask. "I mean, I wouldn't risk it, but if you truly want to show Vik around then go for it." Mitch says. He is always super supportive with me. That why he is my friend. "Thanks so much for everything." I say to Mitch. "No problem." He says while nodding his head.

*time skip again because the day is boring*

     It's almost time to meet with Vik again. But for some reason I don't feel right today. I just shrug it off and go to our designated area to meet.
I wait for 20 minuets and then I see Vik come down. Why was he so late? He sits right next to me. "Sorry I was late, Rob had me stay a bit longer to do some work." Vik says laying on my chest. Should I tell him that I told Mitch?
"I told Mitch about what we are doing, and don't worry, he won't tell a single would about us." I finish. Vik looked worried at first but then calmed down when I told him that Mitch won't tell anybody. He lays on his side and we stare at each other's eyes. "Your eyes are beautiful." Vik says. I blush when he says that. "And your adorable when you blush." Vik laughs witch makes me blush even more. I'm about to pounce on him. He sees what I am about to do so he gets up and flys out of my reach. "Hey!" I laugh. He dodges every move I make. "Can't catch me, I'm too fast for you!" Vik shouts. That's when I lost it. I flew at full speed and caught Vik. He just screamed and laughed. We landed back on the ground. "Now who is the slow one?" I ask laughing. "I admit it I guess it was me." Vik says. We both just lay on the ground and laugh.

     I turn to my side and kiss him. He wraps his arms around my waist. What was supposed to be a small kiss turned into a heated make out session. His lips against mine feel so good, I never want this to end. But sadly we need air to breath, so we pulled apart living a string of saliva in between us. We both look at it and wipe it with our hands. "I love you Vik." I say. "I love you too." Vik says back. He puts his head in the crook of my neck and closes his eyes. I wrap my arms around his waist and do the same. A minuets later I can feel Vik get up shaking. I open my eyes to see what is wrong. He just stares in the entrance for Hell. Then I see what he was looking at. Preston and Rob. Vik and I look at each other and gulp. How did they find us? They slowly walk towards us. We try to escape by flying, but they easily caught up to us. "How much did you guys see?" Vik asks not bothering to look at them. "Everything, but we wanted to watch to see what you guys have been doing each night." Preston says. They are going to break us apart now. I don't want that to happen, I need to see Vik. "You know you guys have broken the code in so many ways?" Preston asks. We nod. Then Rob looks at Vik with worry in his eyes. "How could you lie to me all these times, you were the most honest angle I had." Rob says.

*Vik's POV*

     Rob found out that I lied to him all these nights. He grabs my arms and drags me to go back home. Preston does the same with Lachlan. No I don't want this! "You are no longer the SEC as well." Rob says. I don't know what happens to angels who break the code. I don't want to find out. I glance back and see Lachlan with tears in his eyes. I can't bare to see him like this. This is a decision I thought I would never come to. "STOP!" I scream so Preston and Rob can both hear what I'm going to say. They all turn around and look at me. I gulp. Am I really doing this? I have to, for Lachlan.

     "I never thought that I would come to this..." I start and I look over at Lachlan who has shock and fear in his eyes. He knows what I am doing. I continue. "But if I'm not aloud to see Lachlan because I'm and angel and he is a devil, then I no longer want to be an angel." I feel tears coming down my chin. Lachlan flys over and hugs me mid flight. "Vik..." Rob trails off. "I'm sorry Rob, but I have to do this. Preston hasn't said anything for a while. "Vik, is this your final decision?" Rob asks me. I hesitate. I nod my head only looking at Lachlan, nobody els. "Ok then, if this makes you happy then, you can become a devil." Rob says while flying back up to Heaven. I watch until he disappears into the clouds above.

     Preston just looks at me. "Are you actually doing this Vik?" Preston asks me. "I already told Rob, mow all that left is for you to officially make me a devil." I say. He nods and leads me back to his room. He hand me small blade. It's red and shimmers in the night. I gulp. "To become a full devil you have to make a small cut on your hand and drop the blood in this." Preston says while pointing to a gap in a rock. I nod. I look over at Lachlan and then to Preston.

     I have made my final decision. I grip the blade and make a small cut. Blood starts to bubble up. I head over to the gap in the rock and a drop of my bool falls with a sizzling sound.
