The angel in me: Vikklan

Festival

+Lachlan's POV+

     Last night was amazing. I never knew Vikk was this nice. Rob was really kind to me even though I'm a devil he treated me like I was an angel...again. I wake up in the morning excited.
     Today is the festival. All the helpers finished Vikk and my plans for the way it looks. I get to see Vikk again today. I get up out of bed to go see my pet. I haven't seen him in a while because I'm just so busy. Plus he doesn't fit in my room so he has his own. "Hello, Spark." I say enthusiastically. He looks at me with his beady read green eyes. I have the biggest dragon. Preston has the smallest. I don't know why but he said dragons look cuter when they are small. I feed Spark and pet his head. I love Spark. I head out to find Mitch and the others.

     "Excited much?" Mitch asks when I come up in front of him. I have a huge grin on my face and I'm walking like I never did before. I feel happy. "I don't think I have seen you this happy about something before." Mitch says. "I guess." I reply. "What makes you so happy on this day?" Mitch asks me. "Well we have the festival today and Vikk and I plann-" Mitch cut me off. "Is it something to do with Vikk?" He asks me. "Ummm...no..urm not at all I'm just excited for something special we planned out." I say trying hard not to stutter. "OK then." Mitch says not sounding satisfied.

     Preston fly's by my side to the festival. Everyone else is already there. But first (let me take a selfie) we have to meet up with Vikk and Rob.
     We see Vikk and Rob and we head out to the festival. "Why do you guys have a huge grin on your face?" Preston asks Vikk and I. "You'll see when we get there." Vikk say to Preston. We get to the entrance of the festival. Vikk and I step out of the way so our leaders can see what we planned. They both stare in awe as they see their faces on banners on top. It says 'This years festival is dedicated to both leaders, Rob and Preston for just being our leaders.'
(Sounds kind of cheesy I know) Rob and Preston look at us and give us a hug. "You guys did this for us?" Rob asks. "Yes, for being the best leaders and friends there is." I reply. "Well let's have some fun." Vikk says grabbing me by my wrist and running through the entrance.

     Preston and Rob are chatting. Vikk and I over hear their conversation. Vikk looks back at me and smiles. I couldn't hear everything they said so I'm confused as to why Vikk is smiling. "Did you hear that?" Vikk asks me. "No, I don't have as good hearing as you do." I say laughing. "Their talking about us." Vikk says. Then Preston and Rob get up and head somewhere else. "What did they say?" I ask. "Oh you'll figure it out later." Vikk says teasing me. I just give him the 'tell me or die' stare. Vikk stares back at me. "Nah Vikk you can't do this to me. "Oh but I can." He says smiling. I can't keep my eyes open for long so I close them. "Yay I win!" Vikk shouts. I put on my pouty face and look at Vikk. "No Lachlan don't do dis to meh." Vikk says turning away. He gets up and fly's away. "Vikk come back!" I shout flying after him.

     We sit on a branch of a tree. "Come on, just tell me one thing they said." I plead with my pouty face again. Vikk blushes a light pink and turn away again. "Fine, only because I can't say no yo your pouty face." I blush and turn away so Vikk doesn't see.
     "Preston said that he was going to invite me over for dinner tomorrow night." I immediately get excited. "He wants to know me better." Vikk finishes. I look up and see part of the moon through the clouds. "What's it like up in Heaven?" I ask Vikk. "Its beautiful." He say putting his hand on top of mine. My heart flutters. "How is...Hell?" He asks stuttering a bit with the word 'Hell'. "Its hot, dark, and we rarely get to see the sky." I say sounding a bit sad. "I'll try to convince Rob if you can come to Heaven to see the sky if you'd like." Vikk says looking into my eyes. "I would love that." I say while we both get up to find Preston and Rob.

A/N: how you all enjoying this book so far? I try to upload daily but its very difficult. I might do another chapter today but later at night. Happy fourth of July!
