CHAPTER 2- Nandos

AMANDA’S POV:

Nandos turned out to be very elegant, well a part of it.

First we decided to go to the dance floor.

Then I saw him.

He was standing off to the side talking to his friend.

His hand ran through his blondish-brownish side swept hair and he laughed as his friend talked.

Then he turned around and I saw he had very bright blue eyes.

His eyes met mine and then I quickly turned away.

Then Isabelle pulled me away to the dance floor.

Niall’s POV:

Her beauty blew my mind.

When I first saw her, I thought she was the girl from my dreams.

But I wasn’t sure if love at first sight existed or not.

Her brown curls came down to her elbows and she was wearing a green dress that was my favorite color.

I guess we have the same taste.

Her face looked like it was perfectly chiseled out and her cheekbones stuck out a little.

Her green eyes bored into mine for a second and then quickly flittered away.

My best friend, Sean broke my train of thought as he tried to pull me away to dance.

I refused and said “I don’t want to blind or hurt any people with my terrible dancing!”

Sean just laughed and said, “You’ll be fine, c’mon!”

Then my favorite song came on and we went to the dance floor.

But I couldn’t get my mind off of her.

I decided to go talk to her.

I told Sean I was going to be right back and walked over there.

“Hey, I’m Niall”, I said shyly.

“Hi, I’m Amanda”, she said in an awkward tone.

What was I doing?

I didn’t even think of anything to say before I went over there.

I guess she knew I felt anxious.

“This is my friend Isabelle” she said as she introduced me to her blonde-haired friend.

“Nice to meet you” I said.

“So do you work over here?” Amanda asked.

“No, why do you ask?” I said in a curious tone.

“Because you’re wearing the same outfits as the waiters here!” she said jokingly.

Isabelle laughed with her.

“What? Oh, I didn’t even realize that” I said and chuckled.

Then she looked straight into my eyes and let’s just say, those hazel eyes staring at me, put me into a trance.

Only when Isabelle was saying, “Hello! You guys!” I came back to this world.

Amanda’s POV:

That same boy that was looking at us earlier was coming towards us.

I don’t know why, but my palms started sweating as I saw him coming over here.

My hands have never done that before, except for the time when I had my first kiss in 9th grade with this boy that turned out to be a big fat jerk.

As he was walking, he was putting his hands through his blondish-brownish hair and I felt like touching it, because it looked really fluffy and luscious.

Those electric blue eyes met mine as he introduced himself.

I didn’t know what to say and my palms were sweating furiously.

So I said the only thing I could say, “Hi, I’m Amanda.”

Then I introduced Isabelle who was off to the side, wondering what was going on.

He said “Nice to meet you” and I realized he had an Irish accent, obviously, and I absolutely loved it!

I had noticed that he was wearing the same thing as the waiters here and asked him if he was one.

He laughed and said no.

When I heard his laugh, I felt like the happiest person on Earth.

It just brought joy and comfort to me.

His cheeks were a little chubby but that made him look adorable.

Then his eyes trapped me.

I just couldn’t look away.

They were the perfect shade of blue.

Like the water on the beaches of the Bahamas.

He was perfect.

Elegant, cheerful, calm and just beautiful.

All of a sudden, I heard Isabelle calling our names.
