A Revolutionary Girl in Society.

(1.) Aarti's Story

Hello all,
So here I am with the first part
A note : Do read the last third and last second paragraph which highlights the disgusting mentally of the society.

“Arjun, Dad, Mom; come fast” shouted Aarti. It was her and her brother Arjun’s final result day of standard 8th. Then they went to school, there she introduced her father Mr. Ashok, a business man and mother Mrs. Nirmala, a housewife.

“Congratulations Mr. Ashok your daughter Aarti has topped in class, especially her Maths and Science is very good!” her teacher Sandhya mam exclaimed happily. “And Arjun has also secured 4th rank but his Maths is weak please focus on him” teacher told. “OK we will take care” said Mrs. Nirmala.

“And what about registeration for next academic year” asked Mr. Ashok. She gave them a registration form, they left class, went to registration counter and registered only for Arjun. Mrs. Nirmala and Aarti were shocked but did not reacted over there.

After they came home Aarti said “Father why didn’t  you register for me?” Mr. Ashok told “from now you won’t go to school and help your mom in household chores.” “But why?” asked a shocked and scared Aarti hastily. He dragged Aarti to kitchen and told angrily, “This is your real place, you are a girl and after growing up you have to manage kitchen so I won't waste my money on you. Learn some household chores so that you can get a good husband.”

"But Pappa I want to study, I want to become a doctor and make you proud. Please, please allow me to study, I will be a good girl now onwards, I will not demand for anything, please pappa. " Aarti literally begged. But Ashok had already made his mind. He laughed sarcastically and said, " You will make me proud? Huhhh ara you are a girl you can just be a burden and nothing else, I will get you marry just as you turn 18 I have to save money for your dowry so listen for one last time, you are not going to study. My Arjun, my beloved Son will make me proud." And then he left.

Aarti went to her room and cried so much. Arjun and Mrs. Nirmala were trying to control her but all efforts went in vain. She even did not bother to have dinner. She was a bright student and now her dream of studying was being snatched from her, she could not bear with it. After crying till late she took a tough and bold decision, she left her hometown Rohtak……….

So here I leave you on a cliffhanger, think about it that what will happen next.
