Chapter 5: An Upgrade

The Armory was still quite far away from where our hero was now. But he couldn't stop now, Alex had to keep moving or he would be caught.

A Few Hours Later...

It wasn't easy, but they finally made it to the Armory. Alex then heard something ring in his head again.

[Mission: Get into the Armory [✔️]: Completed]

A/N: This would be how my OC knows that he completed a mission.

Alex had completed first mission, but he knew there would be more to come.

Alex saw three special harnesses that looked perfect for Kit and Clank. He also found something very promising, it was a special mechanical suit of blue battle armor. Alex put it on and the Harness and much to his surprise, they merged together and now really Alex looked like Mega Man Volnutt from the "Mega Man Legends" games. Only he had blue eyes and blue hair. But it didn't stop there, Alex also sort of looked like MegaMan.EXE aka Hub Hikari from the "Mega Man Battle Network" series. In addition, the suit came equipped with a headset that allowed Alex to be able to see all kinds of stuff like in almost any kind of sci-fi-themed, 1st person shooter games. The special shoes Alex had on while he was escaping had went into the boots just fine.

Alex: How do I look?

Clank: You look amazing Alex.

Alex was glad. Clank attached himself to the Harness like the version of him in the "Ratchet & Clank" games. Kit helped Alex gather up whatever weapons and gadgets they may need to escape. Clank found the instructions for all of the stuff Alex had. Alex noticed a device that, after getting a good look at it, turned out that it was an Infini³ (Infini-Cube) from the "Henry Stickmin Collection", Alex figured it woukd be a good idea to use this. He also found a SuccPak also from the "Henry Stickmin Collection", Alex figured that the two gadgets would come in handy.

Before he left, he found some very promising, it was special and functional version of the Pip-Boy from the "Fallout" Series. He also found versions of the T-51 and T-45 Power Armor also from the "Fallout" Series. The Pip-Boy showed that the Infini-Cube is empty. Alex then saw a strange, it was a storage room. Inside, was all of Alex's stuff from his past life, along with all of his sisters and cousins' stuff as well. Using the Infini-Cube, Alex quickly stored everything, which strangely only took up 0.1 % of space in the Infini-Cube. Alex's special Pip-Boy gave him access to what was in said cube and allow him to choose what he wants to remove. He gathered up all of the spares, as he had a sneaking suspension that they would come in handy.

Alex, Clank, and Kit entered the room after leaving the Armory. But then, Alex got the feeling that they were being followed, and he was right.

It wasn't Melody, but it was someone or something else. Suddenly an Alarm sounded.

AI: WARNING!! SUBJECT DLN. 001 AKA MIGHTY NO. 10: MEGA MAN. HAS ESCAPED! ATTENTION!! UNAUTHORIZED REMOVAL OF MEGA MAN SUIT DETECTED!! DISPATCHING SECURITY UNITS.

Alex: Busted!

Clank: Removing the Mega Man Suit must've triggered an Alarm.

Alex: If not, then Melody must've set off the Alarm.

With the alarm going off, Alex, Clank, and Kit had to run or they'll get caught. The three had to hurry. Thinking quickly, Alex grabbed Kit and made a dash into a nearby lab. And just in time, as the robot guards arrived at their location.

After some intense seconds, the robots finally left.

Alex: Phew! That was close.

Clank: Best to proceed with caution then from here on out.
