Chapter 14: Aftermath of Oil Rig Mission

Alex decided to take some time to upgrade the Astrotrain. As it just so happens, Alex had heard that some old space shuttles, rockets, jet planes, passenger planes, cargo planes, and even the famous Boeing 737 and Airbus A380 Airliner. He also got a Submarine added to the Astrotrain to allow for deep-sea exploration. He even managed to have a special jet plane from Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games (specifically "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue" and "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan"). Alex would then later have the Astrotrain be certified for regular usage whether it be in public or otherwise. Alex knows that the Astrotrain can travel on both land, on and under the sea, and in the air. He needed several parts for the Astrotrain's upgrades, which are: a Grid Processor, the core from Buster (a colony of Nanobots), Bio-Organic Micro Scanalyzer, A Plutonium Rod, Neutron Reel, Radium Hook, Gamma Tackle, and some special Coolant Crystals.

Alex later helped out with collecting a bunch of stuff that needed to be removed. He knew that some of the items in question from the game "Rabbids Go Home" which goes as follows:
• Gas Masks: These are like the ones used by the Verminators, people from the aforementioned game. Alex had gotten these from a few locations as they were getting rid of any excess Gas Masks and Air Tanks.
• Air Tanks: These are like the ones used by the aforementioned Verminators. Alex had gotten these from the same places where he got the Gas Masks.
• Answering Machine: Alex had recovered a few of these that were being disposed of due to how some of them are broken.
• Barbecue/Barbeque Grill: Alex was gathering some stuff to help with any upgrades to U.A. kitchen for the improved Cafeteria.
• Bed Pans: Alex was acquiring these for the Medical Wing at the U.A. as a means of making sure anyone who were injured still got something to eat as they healed up.
• Fire Extinguishers: The purpose for these are rather self-explanatory although he got more than enough.
• Fuel Cells: These are meant to help make a Jet Turbine move slightly faster. The Fuel Cells were blue with black tops and bottoms and had some kind of energy or energy flowing in them. Alex had got these from an Airplane Hanger and some old planes that were being dismantled.
• Light Fixers: These are light fixtures that hang from a ceiling. Alex got these from locations that were replacing or removing old light fixtures and replacing them. 
• Mailboxes: Alex had gotten two of these that were being sent off to be recycled, but Alex recovered them.
• Mop Buckets: These are for helping the janitors if they didn't have enough Mop Buckets.
• PA System and Speakers: This consists of a blue box with a red panel, along with the speakers themselves. Alex had helped remove most of these due to complaints of how loud they were or how they could prove a safety violation as they could break and fall at any moment.
• Paint Cans: Alex had gathered many paint cans of different color paint cans for helping out with any painting jobs.
• Paper Towels: Alex had gotten these to help the staff with any cleaning jobs as well as making sure that anyone staying at the U.A. University Dorms once they were done.
• Radios: Alex recovered these as they were still functional and intact, which Alex knows that they all could or can be re-purposed for other uses.
• Satellite TV Dishes: Alex had removed these from houses that were disposing them as they didn't need or want them anymore and as such, Alex would find a way to put them to good use.
• Trash Cans: Alex had gotten plenty of these to make sure no one litters, or threw away stuff that could be recycled.
• Vacuum Cleaners: Alex wasn't sure why he got these, but he still gathered a few that no one else wanted anymore. He would later salvage them for parts.
• Wet Floor Signs: This would help the U.A.'s Janitorial staff if they didn't have enough.
• Atomic Battery: Alex had recovered this from an old Power Plant that was being decommissioned. Alex knew the Atomic Battery is still full of energy so he would have to store it in the Astrotrain due to how it had special room where it was able to handle stuff as volatile as the Atomic Battery.
• Inner Tube/Tire: Alex got multiple of these from some old cars that were sent for recycling or to be scrapped. He didn't know what to use them for but he kept them anyway. He said that he had gut feeling that they would come in handy.
• Jet Turbines: Alex had salvaged multiple of these as from old jet planes that were being decommissioned or scrapped as he felt like he could put the turbines to good use. These from a series of planes that had number 750, as the planes were being replaced with ones that were manageable but it was also due to reports of the turbines looking like they're threatening to break off the plane at any moment.
• Airplane: Alex wasn't sure why but he felt like he could put a few old planes that were scheduled to be decommissioned to good use as he could actually salvage a few of them for parts.
• Boss' Clock: This is from someone who calls himself "The Boss" aka Mr. Director and this is a Clock he's recognized for in the aforementioned game. After someone like this was fired from a job, he had no use for the Clock and Alex decided to take it as he had hunch he would need it later.
• Boss' Desk: This is from the aforementioned Mr. Director. He got those along with the aforementioned Clock. He didn't know why, but he just felt like he needed it.
• Boss' Safe: This is also from the aforementioned Mr. Director. He got this along with the aforementioned Clock and Desk. Alex had already checked if the safe was already empty, before he took it.
• Chinese Vase: This was given to him as a gift for helping out a few Chinese people in Japan, with something they were struggling with.
• Christmas Tree: Alex had gotten this from someone that wanted to get rid of it to make space as Alex took it off their hands, but he didn't know why he needed it, but he didn't mind as it could come in handy later.
• Diving Boards: Alex had gotten a few these for the U.A.'s swim program, as a means of helping some of the students with water-based Quirks or Quirks related to swimming increase their capabilities and to help anyone who was interested learn how to swim.
• Landing Gear: Alex got these from old discarded, dismantled, or decommissioned planes as a means of helping fix up the Astrotrain or for other uses related to spaceships or aircrafts.
• PA Booths: These looked like spaceships or UFOs only with speakers on the side, and these would usually be suspended by an industrial cable from the ceiling of locations like shopping malls. These were removed along with some of the PA Systems Alex had removed as it was deemed a safety hazard by safety inspectors and due to complaints of how they were secured properly or rather, improperly.
• Radar Dish: Alex had gotten a few of these from some airports and old military bases that were being renovated or demolished along side with a few other things.
• Bomb Turret: Alex had gotten these from a very overworked office place that had very Questionable management before being shut down after evidence of embezzlement was discovered. The Bomb Turrets would fire bombs that would act like balloons, rubber air tubes, or balls that could either explode on impact or after a certain amount of time. Alex figured that they looked expensive and it would be a shame to let them go to waste.
• Bubble Beds: Alex had gotten a few of these from some hospitals that were being decommissioned after they had been cleansed for use at the U.A. or at any new hospitals, for any quarantined patients.
• Red Pipes: Alex had collected a lot of strange red pipes, he didn't know why, but he felt like these were important. He checked with any teams he was helping but they said the pipes weren't a part of anything important so Alex decided to hold on them just in case.
• AC and Heater Devices: Alex had been gathering these from old buildings that didn't need them anymore and were just left to gather dust. He could gather them up to be used for other things.
• First Aid Kits: Alex had gathered these for personal usage although he gathered more than necessary.
• Metal Fuel Drums: Some of these were empty when Alex collected them while helping clean out an old warehouse. The rest were still filled with oil or fuel which Alex put to good use.
• TV Monitors: Alex had salvaged these from different locations that eager to get rid of them.
• Laptops: Alex had gotten more than what was required for those who were interested in the Support and Business Courses of the U.A. so he kept a few for personal use or for parts.
• Water Filtration Generators/Water Boilers: Alex had gotten these old Boiler-like or actual Boiler machines with three pressure gauges legally as they had been removed from a few old Water Works Buildings that were being rebuilt.
• Pipe Wrenches: Alex managed to get a lot more than enough for the U.A. as he felt like he needed to get a lot of them.
• Towels: Alex managed to get a lot more than enough for the U.A. as he felt like he needed to get a lot of them.
• A few Pianos: Alex managed to get these from some different locations while some were for the U.A., Alex wasn't sure what to do with one of them.
• Cylinder Tank Trailer: Alex isn't sure what this was for but he collected it anyway.
• Clocks: These were like alarm clocks that Alex collected, he didn't know why but felt like he needed to.
He couldn't tell why, but he just felt that he would need them at a later date, and that he would need them for some kind of spaceship. But there were a few things Alex couldn't get. The Time-Traveling Washing Machines/Time Washing Machines, The Time-Traveling Television/The TV Time Machine, The Bubble Devices, The Special Flying Submarine with Secur-X, Special Flying Submarines, the gizmos and gadgets of Lapinibernatus aka Scribbles, Electro Plunger, Disguise-O-Rama, Multi-Purpose Plunger, and special Football/Egg-Shaped Rocket Engines. He actually tried to replicate them but had no such luck. Damn. It would seem that Alex will have to track the Rabbids in order to get the items, but he decided that he'll do it another time.

Alex soon realized that he had a special talent. He could gather broken or disused items salvage them for useful materials or parts which he can provide the U.A., keep for himself or to sell for an amount Yen. Maybe it was due to how he could incorporate certain parts into his arsenal, or if it was because of some other reason, but he didn't care, the fact that it gave him something to do, was enough for him. He salvaged parts from Cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, construction equipment, trains, old electronics, old appliances, old machinery, and even old factory machines. Even his sisters joined in on the salvaging effort, or at least one of them did.

All of that had gained Alex and his sisters quite the amount of parts and Yen. But noticed something odd, he noticed that his baby sister Stephanie had a look on her eyes saying that she was up to something. Alex decided to think nothing of it for now.

Nezu saw something that he knew Alex was made for. For the past few days, Alex had been raiding Enemy Bases confiscating all kinds of stuff, Trigger, Quirk-Destroying Drugs, all kinds of stuff that he knew that they should not be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. He was aware that it was Vigilantism, but he didn't care, because if he failed to act, then the dangerous goods would be delivered all over the world. Nezu figured that Alex was ready for a new mission.
