"Kill me, I dare you," the very pregnant woman sneered, while glaring at the ginger haired man who was standing in front of her.
The man's eyebrows furrowed and twitched with fury. His thick, rough hands clenched, turning into an irritated red. The ginger haired man's jaw tightened as he scrambled to remember the killing spell in his head. Out of all the battles he had experienced, this was the only one where he couldn't even remember the name of the spell he used the most. How pathetic of me, he scolded in his head.
His malevolent icy blue eyes lit up when he finally remembered the name. Just the malevolent sound of it was enough to make him grin. He thrusted his index finger and pointed at the woman, shouting the spell with a rough, angry edge to his deep voice.
"Murdious!"
Immediately, the pregnant woman shoved her hands in front of her, as if she were going to block the red fiery beam of sizzling light heading straight toward her. Suddenly, a translucent aqua-colored sphere surrounded her, as if she were inside a large, gleaming bubble. The red beam of light hit the protective force and with a quick zap-like sound, it immediately reflected back towards the ginger haired man.
His eyes widened for a split second, or maybe even less, and he ducked. The red beam nearly zapped his hair, then collided into the brick wall, leaving cruel black singes. The microscopic remains of the red light faded away, along with the red hue that was casted across the room.
When the man finally calmed down from the sudden attack, he cursed loudly, pointing at the pregnant woman who was still in her shield-like sphere.
"Damn it!" he roared, angry specks of spit flying from his mouth.
"You can try all you want," the woman smirked. "But you can't kill me."
"Shut up, woman!" the man shouted angrily, his forehead damp with beads of sweat. "I'll kill you and your baby no matter what!"
"Leave us alone!"
She turned her hand over so that her palm was facing the tall ceiling. A spark lit up. Soon, the tiny spark grew into a wild flame, almost as big as a basketball. The ginger haired man stepped back as the woman approached him. Soon, his back pressed against the wall and his face clouded with fear as he watched the dangerous flame in her palm.
"Go," the woman demanded. "Leave!"
Her flame flickered.
Despite the enormous pride he owned, the man gritted his teeth and stormed away to the open window where he had entered earlier. He turned to glance back at the woman who was still glaring daggers at him.
"I'll come back to kill your baby one day, Eleanor," the man snarled viciously,
"I hope you don't," the woman simply replied.
Then, he jumped out of the window and started to fall from the tall story apartment. He watched the city lights in the night blur as he gained speed from falling. The pregnant woman watched him until he teleported away in the air and disappeared into the darkness.
