It's been a whole month since I got kidnapped.
As soon as I got home. Ace got a doctor to look at me. I had a mild concussion, busing, and a spring arm. Which was nothing compared to when I was younger when I was fighting with Uncle Damon.
Now me and Ace have barely talked this past month. He only dropped me off at school or stayed with me but, he never talked to me. I don't know if it's because of what happened or if it's something else.
I bit my lip, got off my bed, and went to Ace's room. I walk in without knocking.
I see him at the window on the phone, leaning up against the frame. "держать" (hold) he demanded in Russian. He pulled his phone away from his ear and turned around to look at me. He tilted his head to the side. "What?" He landed off of the frame and slowly walked towards me.
I put my hands behind my back and bit my lips. He gave me a look knowing I was about to ask him something.
"We're going to the ball." There was a ball tonight, My family always went to me but I could never because nobody knew I was Bella and Ares's daughter.
If people knew I was alive Mafias would fall and people would come after my family, trying to find me.
My parents were both one of the most dangerous people in the world. And still are.
But since I'm going to be the leader next it's about time people know about Bella's and Ares's daughter.
"No," Ace put his phone back up to his ear. My eye twitched.
I walked up to him got up to my tipy toes and grabbed his phone. Ace gave me a dangerous look.
I hear a man speak in Russian. "Эйс перезвонит вам позже" (Ace will call you back later) I hung up the phone and put it down.
"What the hell was that for?" Ace grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me back. I gasped when I came two inches from his face. I smiled "I said I want to go." I yanked my wrist out of his hold. "I never asked for your permission." I turned around and walked out the door.
But Ace was right behind me following me to my room.
"Katerina you can't." He grounded out. I looked over my shoulder. "I'm going to be Mafia's next leader. I'm not hiding in the shadows anymore." I go to my closet and dig out a burglary red dress.
