Maddie just got off of work After a long shift of people trapped in houses under heavy objects- A fan stuck in someones chest?- That was a fun one to explain. But anyway she was ready to just head home have a nice dinner with Jee-yun and Chimney Talk about the crazy things they saw on shift and-

*RING.......RINGG.....RING RING.....*

Maddie's phone was going off mid thought in the car, she briefly picked it up seeing it was Chimney

"Hey whats up?"  Maddie says putting the phone up to her ear as she's was driving

"Maddie you need to get home now" Chimney said in a sad tone

"Why? is everything okay? Are you okay? Is it Jee-Yun?!" Maddie said her heart stopping for a second

"No its not.. Are you driving?" He asked

"Yea I can pull over?" She replied to him in a worried tone

"No - just get home please"  He said

"A-alright" she said as she hang up the anxiety building up

Chimney was waiting  for Maddie as he watched Jee-yun Play with her toys, Eventually he was gonna get the question "Wheres Uncle Buck?" and how he was gonna have to explain Uncle Buck passed away 

A knock came at the door Chimney quickly got up and answered, immediately Maddie came in

"What happened?! are you okay? Is Jee-Yun okay??" Maddie said Looking at him as she picked up Jee-yun

"Im fine and she's fine..." Chimney said avoiding her gaze

"Then whats wrong?" Maddie said as she walked a little closer putting Jee-Yun down

"Its...Buck..." Chimn blurted out as he found his gaze on Maddie

"Buck What? Where is he Is he hurt?! Is he fine?!?" Maddie said with wide eyes feeling her heart beat faster as Chimney didn't respond

"Howie! Where is my brother?!" she said tears building up

"....We got separated During the earthquake and Evan was in the middle of it and then when we went out looking for him nothing was there and I looked and looked and looked until my legs gave out and even then I still searched, I tried Maddie I really did try but He wasn't there" He said fast as He felt tears in his own eye "He's.... Gone......."

"What?....." Maddie said as she dropped everything she was holding her phone fell on the ground and it broke "No...No this- This isn't happening" Maddie said tears flowing down her face as Chimney just hugged her "No! M-My Brother is dead?!" She said sobbing "HE CAN'T BE" She starting sobbing into chimneys chest "EVAN CAN'T BE DEAD HOWARD HE C-CANT" She said just breaking down onto Chimn as Jee-Yun hugged Maddies leg
