The world blurred as Caspian spun me out away from him. I couldn’t help laughing, as I spun back. My hands on his chest and his strong arms wrapped around me. I rested my head on his chest, listening to the beat of his heart. My senses filled with his fresh, rainfall scent. We slowly turned in time with the music. Julie and John danced past us, Grace held between them, a smile on her sweet face. A gleeful giggle sounded from her as John dipped them nice and low. I smiled at the sound of her giggle. My smile faded, as my gaze fell on Julie’s brother, who stood next to his father, Mason. Mason was in a deep conversation with a neighboring Alpha. Samuel seemed to be listening intently, however his eyes continually darted around the yard. Glancing at his phone every few seconds. The hairs on the back of my neck stood, but I quickly brushed the feeling away. A young wolf like him, no doubt eagerly waiting to hear back from a lover. Caspian dipped me, taking my mind off the young soon to be Alpha. The song faded out as he slowly pulled me upright. I smiled at him, “Come on, I’m thirsty.” Caspian chuckled, as he led me to the food tables.

A hand clasped my shoulder. I looked to see John, he grinned, as he took the seat next to me. “The Omegas did a fine job on this party.” I smiled, agreeing. “I think those she-wolves of ours are trying to give us heart attacks.” I followed his gaze to where Kalama and Julie danced on the dance floor. Their bodies pressed against each other, as they moved in time with the music. I chuckled.
“You might be right.” John chuckled too. I sighed, “I’m happy to see her having so much fun.” John nodded.
“Girl hasn’t had a moments rest since she arrived, between Haynes and Delilah.” I couldn’t agree more. The music faded out and into a slower song. I checked my watch, it was nearly midnight. I looked up to see my Love and Julie walking over. Julie smiled at me, bowing her head, and held her hand out to John.
“Come dance with me.” John took his mate’s hand, leading her out on the floor. Kalama wrapped her arms around my neck, her breath in my ear.
“What do you think about slipping out of here?” I grinned, kissing her lips.
“You don’t have to tell me twice.” A mischievous grin turned the corners of her mouth, as she suddenly took off, running for the patio doors, yelling,
“Last one there has to strip first.” I took off after her, she squealed in delight. I jumped over her heels as she slipped out of them, still running. I was a step behind her as she took the stairs two at a time. I grabbed her just as we reached the bedroom door. She laughed. Her arms wrapped around my neck as I claimed her lips with mine. My tongue traced her bottom lip, asking for access. She opened her mouth, meeting my tongue with her own. Our tongues still intertwined, I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door. I walked her backwards inside and used my foot to close the door. She broke the kiss and made a show of walking over to the couch. I watched as her ass swung from side to side, my length rubbed against my zipper. She sat on the couch, spreading her hands. That mischievous grin on her sweet lips. “I believe I won.”
I chuckled, kicking off my shoes and socks, and walked to stand in front of her. I shrugged my suit jacket off, tossing it on the armchair. I watched her eyes fill with lust as I slowly unbuttoned the shirt, letting it slide from my shoulders and onto the floor. The smell of her arousal filled my senses as I undid the belt buckle, making my already hardened length rub harder against the pant zipper. Her eyes followed as I slid out of my pants and boxers, kicking them aside. She stood, her eyes leaving a heated trail as they slowly traveled down my body and back up. She placed her hands on my chest. “Very nice.” Her words came out as a whisper. Sparks ignited. I wrapped my arm around her. My other hand tangled in her hair as I claimed her mouth in a kiss that left us both short of breath. She turned us around, pushing me onto the couch.
