"You can't stay here," Zach said, having just placed Junior in bed with Stripes, the husky puppy.

"What? why?" Chris asked, looking up at him.

"Because of your stay here. I'll go into heat, being surrounded by all you alpha pheromones," Zach said, and Chris frowned.

"But you would go into heat anyway," Chris said, and Zach frowned and looked away.

"Right?" Chris asked, and Zach sighed.

"Yes, but I don't go into heat like normal omegas," Zach admitted sadly.

"What do you mean?" Chris asked, and Zach glared.

"It's none of your business. But you can't stay here." Zach said.

"I'm staying with you guys, Zach. I want to be a part of Junior's life," Chris said, and Zach frowned at him.

"Why? We were doing fine without you, and we will be again," Zach told him.

"Are you really just going to introduce me to Junior and then take me out of his life again?" Chris asked, and Zach ran a hand over his face.

"Fine, you can stay, but you have to be gone when my heat starts; I don't want you here," Zach said, and Chris agreed.

"What room are you staying in?" Zach asked.

"The room next to yours," Chris said, and Zach sighed.

"I'm going to bed," Zach said, heading up the stairs.

Zach lay in bed unable to sleep, he twisted and turned before sitting up. He climbed out of bed, went over to the balcony, opened the door, and stepped out. He looked out at the city behind his mansion-like home.
