That strange sensation, the tugging in your gut. The chill that makes every bright, hopeful door slam shut.
It's a funny feeling, isn't it? Keeping you on the edge of your seat, wishing you could stop it.
Of course, it's not the same, not quite. A pit in the stomach, a missed step on the stairs, an insistent whisper, "Something's not right."
But, what, you wonder, could be wrong? You brush it off, hitting play on your favorite song.
It lingers still, like the flutter of a rollercoaster ride, without the fun thrill.
That flood of doubts that leaves you staring at the ceiling. It likes to stick around, doesn't it? That funny, little feeling.
