Up in space, just a few miles out of Plane 51's orbit, the Odyssey ship flew calmly out in space amongst the stars. Inside, Captain Chuck Baker sat back in his seat eating some astronaut food for dinner, monitoring the technical screens on his dashboard. Somewhere on the floor lying on his back was Ripley the gray xenomorph, his long tongue hanging out. The xenomorph finally calmed down after Chuck gave him a few bites of one of his snacks; whatever was in it seemed to do the trick of keeping him quiet, at least for a while. Just as long as he wasn't destroying the ship, then Chuck was happy either way to have the xenomorph on board.

Sooner or later, Chuck would finally be back at home on Earth, and he couldn't wait to tell everyone else what he had discovered on his adventure. The aliens, Glipforg, Base 9, the striking resemblance to 1950s American history...there was a lot to tell!

Yet, at the same time, he also felt a little hesitant at the idea. After all, as soon as he told NASA about the truth of what he saw, whether that be the aliens or even the planet as a whole, it wouldn't be long until humans would also try to inhabit the planet. And for all Chuck knew, that very thing could only resort into disaster.

Just as Chuck was about to lounge back and listen to his music, a blaring noise as well as flashing red lights erupted on the control panel. The sleeping xenomorph awoke with a start and started to bark grotesquely and loudly, running around everywhere. Chuck let out a startled exclaimation as he pushed buttons, trying to see if that would fix the problem, but the warning signs flickered on, showing no signs of stopping.

When that didn't work, Chuck tried to reach the space station on Earth. He pressed a button and spoke into the microphone, covering his ears with his headphones and his free hand as he shouted over the erupting noise. "Houston, do you copy?!" No response. He tried again, shouting louder. "HOUSTON, can you hear me?!"

Still nothing.

Chuck started to panic, and he felt like the walls were closing in. Here he was, out in the middle of nowhere, with no outlet for thousands of miles, inside of a failing module that was supposed to take him back home safe and sound, with no communication and absolutely no idea what to do. This was it, the end of the road for him. There goes his title of being the first man ever to come in contact with extraterrestrials, his popularity, his, his-

*BOOM*

The ship made a loud banging noise and a bright light flashed from the back. Chuck continued to cover his ears, trying to block out all of the sounds. He then took a quick glance back at the control panel, and he noticed that on one of the screens, there was a picture showing an outline of the ship and the overall status of the different parts. He saw that one of the back engines was highlighted red, and a box popped up next to it saying, "ENGINE A FAILURE".

Well that wasn't good-

*BOOM*

Another flash of light and an explosion shook the ship, and Chuck tightened his eyes before looking over the rest of the screens. From there, he saw that the ship was knocked out of direction to Earth, meaning only one thing; unless he was able to somehow fix the engine right then and there, and steer the ship back on course...he would never make it back home.

But there was no way he could repair something this serious in space, at least not by himself. That only led him to one solution...

He needed to return to Planet 51.
