Today [15th May, 2023], I found a tweet, made a couple of days ago, and it expresses what I feel so much that I decided to share it here.
Please, take a look at it before starting on any of my book...
All of this has been happening in the last 24 hours, between 3rd April - 4th April, 2024.
Just like those angry, and upset authors, I am not really sure if I will be updating here any more. I don't see a point.
What would be the point, if any second, of any day, all my thousands of hours of work could just be obliterated?
No. Wattpad has been nothing but painful memories and hurt for me. Enough is enough. Free speech has been a mirage for a long time now, but we are slowly, but surely entering into "1984", and full control over our words, and our thoughts, and what we write.
If anyone wants to read my stuff - all of it is on AO3, all books, from both my accounts here.
And today I will be doing the stupid and totally unnecessary work, of transferring also my drafts onto AO3.
Yes, Wattpad deletes drafts too!
