I stood in the kitchen after classes had ended.
"Okay so where is this 'Anti-Chamber'?" I asked Fabian as we stood in the kitchen waiting for the girls.
"In the basement, we discovered it last year, and it leads to the tunnels." He Replied.
" And so if we're going to the basement why are we in the Kitchen?" I still had lots to learn about Sibuna.
" This Thing." he patted the bread oven that doesn't work.
"An oven?" Yeah, that wasn't strange.
"Okay, everyone here?" Nina asked as she, Amber, and Patricia walked in.
" Yep." Amber told us.
"Well then lets go." Nina bent down and pulled out her locket and placed it against the oven. The door opened up and Nina crawled through.
"Through the oven. That's not strange at all."
"Just go Weasel." Patricia pushed me through the oven.
I got through the tunnel and out a door and found myself in the cellar.
"Wow, so that's what you meant that time Fabian about the bread oven." I walked over to he bookcase where Nina was standing. "Let me guess, secret door." She put in a code, at the top, and it opened up. I walked in. "So what are we looking for?"
"Anything that has to do with Mut. A book, a journal, a photo."
I walked over to the farthest bookcase, and started looking. Scanning down the titles, Amber came to look on the bottom shelves. "Here's something maybe!" I started to pull out the book and then the bookcase started moving.
"Ahhhh!!" Amber shouted. A bar of light showed up ahead of us and tarted moving up.
"Protect your era somehow!!" I hear Nina shout from the other side of the bookcase.
"With what?!?!" Amber shouted back in a panic. I bent down and picked up Amber's purse and started looking through it hurriedly.
"Here!" I pulled out a mirror as the light was inches from our eyes. I held it up and the light reflected off of it back to the source of it. There was a sound of rock crushing.
"Amber! Eddie! Are you alright?!?! Can you see?" Nina called out.
"Yeah we're fine!" I turned and pulled the book out and the bookcase turned back around.
"Wait what's that?" Fabian asked as the bookcase turned around. I stopped the bookcase midway and looked to the opposite wall in the tunnel. "It looks like a new tunnel. Where' d we put the amulets?" Patricia pulled out a drawer from the desk and pulled out 6 amulets. She handed one to him and the rest of us.
"What do these do?" I asked putting it around my neck.
"It protects you from the light." Nina told me as we walked into the tunnel. "It will blind you for 24 hours without it."
"It's terrible! Isn't it Patricia?" Amber said, I looked to Patricia.
"Yeah, especially when you're supposed to be on chore duty." She replied.
"Oh, our almost kiss?!" I smiled at her. She pushed me along after Fabian.
Just below the source of the light a passage way had opened up.
"Now where does this lead to?!?!" Fabian asked. "Who wants to go first?!?! Eddie?!?!"
"Okay," I looked down as far as I could see through the tunnel. It looked okay. I started forward while everyone followed behind me. "So far so good." I could see a small light in the distance of the tunnel. " I can see a light!" Fifty steps later we arrived at a solid wall with a small hole through the light was flowing through.
"This looks like Isis house basement!" Fabian asked peering. Through the hole.
"Wait a second." I look through the hole trying to see the other side. "This is what must have been behind the door in my dream! That looks like he room we were in."
"So we just need the girl to open the door an let us out?!" Patricia commented.
"I'll text her." Amber pulled out her phone.
"You have her number?!?!" Nina asked her.
"Well yeah! Nina you know me, when Joy disappeared I decided that I should always get the numbers of anyone I meet and become friends with because you never know what could happen to them."
I peered over at what Amber was texting.
KT, hey this is Amber can you go to Isis house basement, bring your key.
"There, sent!" Amber exclaimed.
"You sure she'll come?!" Patricia asked her. "You barely know her!"
"Well probably! I mean I'm Amber Millington!!"
"Okay then!" Nina smiled to her.
"Hello?!?!" KT's voice echoed through the empty cellar.
