Potions | | Theodore Nott

•Part six

"I have way too much going on, too many classes, too many assignments already, I just don't have the time." You said. "And, I am not going to be in my brother's shadow for yet another thing."

"I simply can't be bothered." Camilla told the boy and he rolled his eyes.

"You girls are no fun." Lorenzo said.

Your friends and you sat around the quidditch stadium for a while, talking and just having fun with one another. You had completely lost track of time and weren't planning on going anywhere, that was until Tori reminded you.

"Daniella, shouldn't you get going to meet Nott at the library?" Astoria asked you.

"Shit, what's the time?" You asked her.

"Ten to six." She answered you.

"It takes me fifteen minutes you get there and we agreed on six o'clock!" You said and immediately stood up from the floor you were sat on.

"You better get a move on then." Enzo said.

You grabbed all your stuff and ran out of the quidditch stadium. You ran through the castle and straight to the library, which was on the other side of the huge school.

Your bag was so heavy and was weighing you down, it had all of you books form the day in it as well at the potions textbooks you may need. That made it harder for you to run, but you still did.

By the time you got to the library, it was five minutes past six and Theodore Nott was nowhere to be seen. You let out a huge sigh and chucked your books down on a table in the corner of the library.

You took a minute to catch your breath before getting out your potions textbooks and going to collect some more from one of the shelves. As you were getting some more books, you felt a hand touch your shoulder.

It startled you but when you turned around, you were no longer scared. A very friendly face was smiling down at you, and it only made you smile with him.

Anthony Goldstein.

Anthony was a Ravenclaw and you two were in all of each other's classes last year, he and you became very close in such a short amount of time.

"Anthony!" You exclaimed.

"I have not seen you in forever, Daniella, how are you?" Anthony asked you and he pulled you into a quick yet welcoming hug.

"I'm good, how are you?" You asked him.

"Same here." He said. "I see you're still keeping up on that study streak."

"I have to, I don't know who I am without being the smartest one in our year." You said and he laughed.

"Probably the entire school, you're one of the only ones who actually tried to learn in school." He said to you. "Everyone else just cares about quidditch and parties."

"You say that like you don't care about those things too, but you do." You said and he laughed, making you laugh as well.

"Okay, maybe I do, but parties are so fun and what's not to like about quidditch!?" He exclaimed and you widened your eyes. "Do not give me that look, I know deep down you secretly love a good party."

"I'm not the partying type." You said.

"You'll like this next party." He said.

"What party?" You asked him. "It's the second day back at school, how is there a party already in the works!?"

"People move quick here at Hogwarts, I thought you'd have realised by now." He said to you. "The party was arranged just this morning, surprisingly. Us Ravenclaws usually plan ahead and arrange something the first night."

"It's another Ravenclaw party?" You asked him and he nodded his head. "That means everyone's gonna go, which then means I'll have to go."

"You don't have to." Anthony said. "You'll just be all alone if you don't. Personally, I think you should come."

"And why is that?" You asked the boy.

"Because I haven't seen you in a while and I miss you... I want to see you properly again, Dani." Anthony said. "I miss what we had."

"Anthony..." you said quietly. "We can't."

"Why not?" He asked you.

Anthony grew closer to you and before you knew it, your bodies were touching. He had you pinned against a bookshelf, one of his hands by your thigh and the other by the side of your head.

Your lips were parted and he was looking down at you, your eyes locked.

"It's too messy." You quietly spoke. "Even if we keep it a secret again... it gets way too out of hand, I can't do that once more."

"We don't have to keep it a secret this time, I just want you." Anthony said to you. "You have no idea, Daniella... I want you so bad."

"Ant." You said.

"Dani." Anthony said.

"What would everyone think?" You asked.

"Fuck them all." Anthony said.

His eyes moved down to your lips and yours darted down to his. You just knew he was going to kiss you, and you knew that you did not want to stop him.

Anthony bent down to kiss you and as soon as his lips were about to touch yours, you two were interrupted by someone clearing their throat behind him. Anthony stood up straight and moved away from you, the both of you getting a good look at who was standing there.

It was Theodore.

"I was wondering where my partner was... I believe you are late." Theodore said to you.

"Partner?" Anthony turned and asked you.

"That's right." Theo said and Ant turned his attention back to him. "I'm her boyfriend, now I suggest you leave."

"You've got a boyfriend?" Anthony asked and turned back to you. "You let me say all that when you have a boyfriend?"

"I think I just threw up in my mouth, that is so gross. Theodore is not my boyfriend, I wouldn't do that to myself." You said.

"Hey!" Theodore shouted. "What's that meant to mean?"

"Shut up, Theodore." You told him and he kept his mouth shut.
