Warning: Rants from the author may occur!
If you're going to write a fanfiction, at least make it accurate. Too many times I see a well written character twisted by a fanfiction. If a character is quiet and reserved, they aren't going to go around being loud and cussing people out. If the character wouldn't do something in the show/ book/ movie they were originally in, you shouldn't have them do it in your fanfiction. Also, if you don't know very much about the topic of your fanfiction, you should either not write it at all, or wait until you know more. I quote, "I really don't know THAT much about (insert topic and/or character here)..." from an anonymous user. I think that's a sign that the accuracy of the fanfiction isn't very good. Just try to make your Fanfics as accurate as possible, for the sake of us readers, and for the sake of the characters in question. Thanks!
