***It had already been just over a month now since Jimin had upset Y/N. Even the teens' parents knew something was up. The two were practically joined at the hip. Y/N's mom had been trying to press and asked about what happened between the two but she just wouldn't budge. She'd be going off to her college soon too...so would Jimin.

Jimin stared at his phone that was sitting in front of him on his bed. I really messed up...she won't even answer my texts. He flopped back onto the bed, his eyes began to wonder across the empty ceiling. What else could he do? He had left messages and multiple texts for his best friend saying how sorry he was and he didn't mean to upset her like that. The teen turned on his side, curling up to wallow in his sadness.

Y/N had locked herself in her room and had been crying her eyes out. She turned off her phone after Jimin had been calling and texting her nonstop. How could her best friend not tell her he had chosen to go to a different college and, on top of that, keep it a secret until literally after graduating?  I thought we knew each other better than that! I would have been upset but...I would have been okay with him going somewhere else. But why didn't he just tell me? She sniffled now angry more than upset. She patted around her bed to find her phone and switch it back on. The notifications seemed to be endless and they were all from Jimin. She read a few of the messages, listened to a few of the voicemails, and then sat up in bed.

Jimin had been silently crying when his phone rang. He snatched it up and answered immediately when he saw Peach on the screen. "Y/N! Are you okay? Listen, I'm so sorry!"

Y/N sighed hearing the panic in Jimin's voice. "Mochi...can you come over later?"

Jimin shut up hearing the sad tone to Y/N's voice as she spoke softly into the phone. "Uh, y-yeah. I'll come over."

Jimin had arrive at Y/N's house and was greeted by her mother. She had told him that Y/N had been so depressed lately and she hoped the two could overcome what ever had happened.

"Hey, Peach?" Jimin called softly as he entered his best friend's room. He shuffled over to the bed where he had spotted her curled up.

She sat up slowly. Without a word she held her arms out signaling she needed a hug.

Jimin smiled softly immediately answering her outstretched arms with the biggest, tightest hug he could muster. "Peach, I'm so sorry....please forgive me?"

She snuggled into his chest. "Of course I forgive you..."

Despite the two making up  after that, Jimin didn't want to hurt Y/N like that again. He had started to distance himself. He'd make excuses not to hangout, avoid phone calls, and he sent less texts to her. He didn't trust himself not to hurt her again like that. And soon his excuses weren't a lie. Jimin had started seeing someone. He figured it was best to talk to her as minimally as possible but little did he know Y/N was aching for his companionship, she was having a hard time adjusting to college life, and needed the emotional support, but he wasn't there. She just didn't understand why Jimin was being so distant.
